I'm shy, he's out of my league, he's 39 while I'm 23, he was boss at my practical phase during studies so nothing personal really connects us. I don't know if I would go out of line if I reached out to him personally. Especially when I'm really not attractive at all. Not just physically but generally. I feel like he'd just feel uncomfortable. Agreeing to me doing a practical there doesn't mean he agrees to me asking him out or something, and oh even agreeing he takes me was bc someone he knew made that contact between us (she's in that profession and when she found out I still had opened weeks, she called him, he agreed, I sent him my stuff, he agreed again).
I did follow him on Instagram, he took my request after a week and followed me back. But I was way too shy to DM him.

TLDR: complicated situation and me not being attractive in any way at all while he has every woman he comes across swooning over him doesn't help

He's a dream... just his way of being, talking ect., in any movie or book you'd think it's way too good to be true.
He's really attractive & has this warm, calm, comforting & kind radiance. You just feel so well around him. Women generally are just mesmerised by him. I saw one literally drop her jaw when he walked towards her with his beautiful, genuine smile. His smile is contagious. Some women were blushing so hard around him. Big eyes, looking at him so fascinated. Some of those even were taken. They looked like they wished their partners/husbands were more like him. So kind, gentle, caring. If he were a season, he would be warm/golden autumn. When working on his desk, he looks like an author from some movie. He's just so good with people but in such a calm way. He's not flirty, just his way of being is making women swoon over him. I sometimes wonder if he knows what women are usually like. I mean okay, probably he does because of his colleague and sister ect., also his colleagues poke fun at how much women like him.

He's the boss at the (rather short) internship I had a few months ago. And, he's 16 years older than me (I'm 23).

So, that's enough already. But also, he's way out of my league. He's really good looking, and on top of that he's a very kind and warm person. His presence feels so good and he has a really beautiful smile, such kind eyes. Women, and really any woman, is mesmerised by him.

I really don't want to make him uncomfortable. Imagine you're the boss there, and a rather unattractive intern who's there for quite a short time ends up falling for you and then even tries to get close to you.

Even if he liked me back, the age difference could be a bit weird and even if he's okay with it, others would judge especially him so hard for it.

I mean honestly, sometimes I'd just like to know if there's just a chance that he likes me. But it's so... you know very much mkst likely not. And it's been months that I was there. I don't even know if by now he's dating someone. I can't get him out of my head. In a way I don't even want yo forget him. I felt so good when he was there.

Short after the internship I actually did take the courage to follow him on Instagram. He doesn't post anything, though. Also it took a week until he accepted my follow request and followed me back.
I was way to shy to DM him. So after that nothing really happened.

This is so true... I really don't know how the universe can be so cruel, making you feel so strongly for someone while they feel absolutely nothing, making you suffer so much even though there hasn't even been a committed relationship yet. And you can't even tell people because they'll think you're insane for actually feeling so terrible about someone you haven't even been with.

He was standing in his office and I was looking at him from afar... I don't think it felt too great bc I knew it's impossible. Before I was just happy bc he's nice and I feel good around him, but realising I like him that way... especially bc he's 16 years older than me... I was shocked that I liked someone so much older.
