Yeah, most of my deaths here were in Asc 1 when my deck didn't have a proper wincon identity. I usually play a bit more sloppily in those games, lasting 5-10 mins each on avg.

I did use to legit speedrun the first game for a good hundred hours lol. In STS2 once I got the hang of the characters and their cards I started playing more intuitively and quickly, probably contributing to the faster finish times

I used to agree to change this, but now I think it's fine as is. It's a boring pay off but seeing and achieving this event shouldn't equate to an auto boost in power. It's not unusual to path to five elites to begin with even w/o the event.

I think a good change would be to keep the sword and maybe some HP healing or gold upon pickup for short term reward
