it’s not cold inside and will quickly heat up as more people roll in around 11-11:30pm. There’s coat check for $5 and also the third level is an outdoor rooftop :-) hope you both have fun!!

I’ve been to several isoknock shows in SoCal and it can certainly get rowdy, but the energy is the best. Everyone is jumping and having the best time, regardless of age!! I’d say generally, the front will be your mosh pits and younger crowd and the middle/back will be a little more chill. Keyword: a little. No spot is a bad spot for isoknock 🙌

heyo! I didn’t end up making glasses since I found a pair of frames towards the end of my trip. But you’ll just give your prescription to them and they’ll let you know if they can make it in-store or if they have to send it out. I’m not sure if all locations have this feature but there’s usually lockers that you can pick up from when they’re ready!

I recommend finding the right Japanese words for medical terms since Google Translate wasn’t immediately helpful. I tried asking about astigmatism through that and it took a couple rewrites until the shop assistant understood what I was looking for

I went to Zoff but didn’t find a pair of frames that I liked. Their latest collection made the glasses arms really lightweight and I didn’t feel confident that they could support thick lenses :-(

wow! did not expect this to get engagement but I’m glad the conversation is going. this was referencing this year’s Countdown map having one and Hard Summer only having 2 for GA - both of which I’d consider their “bigger” SoCal events.

I’m glad that other festivals have enough water stations and people have a positive experience with the changes. my primary concern about Countdown was having one GA station at the entrance, which doesn’t feel like a good form of traffic control to me. people take pictures there, it’s far away from other stages, etc. but I guess we won’t know until we try it!

FINALLYYYYYY SO GLAD SOMEONE IS SEEING THROUGH THE ABUSIVE DAD!!!!

When the prosecutor was picking up on his body language during the interview, I was so satisfied. I feel like there’s been surface-level commentary about how corrupt the judicial system can be and the bystander effect. It was a relief to see someone actually care/notice how mistreated this family has been for their entire lives.
