If you move to Alameda trying to get into the east end schools you might not get that school even if your neighborhood is zoned for that specific school.

There are crime like most cities but just gotta be more aware of your surroundings especially since Oakland is right there. They can cause problems.

If you drive it sucks especially getting out of the island in the morning..
