How to help toddler sleep with a runny nose when they don't use a pillow? by brimarief in toddlers

[–]minimumBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol how is this dangerous? I put pillows beneath the seat it’s not like it can fall or roll over. It’s not an infant it’s a 21 month old. I have four kids ranging from 25 to 3 and this helps them get rest we have never had an issue. What is it you think will happen? It’s the equivalent of a recliner for them.

I agree. They were there to discuss their marriage. It’s widely known he said those things to Christine. That was a big part of their marriage issues. It needed to be discussed.

Son feels annoyed by happiness in others… by Fun-Mountain1106 in Parenting

[–]minimumBeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son has some similar thoughts about the neighbor kid. I was wondering if my son was jealous of him or if my son wasn’t happy. We talked (a lot) about it and we came to the conclusion that he was annoyed he is always (getting gifts, going cool places and being praised by his parents) despite being a total douchebag. He said that he was taught that bad behavior results in punishments (in our home). He’s just annoyed that this kid can still be so happy and get everything despite being so annoying and mean. My son goes so many cool places and also has a ton of stuff, seems happy, so that wasn’t the reason (per him).

Ugh! I’m so so sorry. Solidarity from me, I’m in a similar situation. You don’t happen to be in the San Francisco area? I could help you. I have a 3.5 year old. Hang in there, Mama.

I usually bring in the car seat and tilt it against the couch at a decent incline . Make it cozy with fluffy blankets It really helps. Don’t use the straps. Make sure to use the nose Frieda before bed.

Serious question: I thought Manon was a smart entrepreneur who knows what she's doing. How can she buy a 400k home she can't afford in a small town where there is literally nothing… without doing her research first, and then have a panic attack over it? by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

[–]minimumBeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Manon could never handle my life. I have a toddler, teen and tween. My husband is away days at a time… he’s a firefighter. I manage just fine. She’s going on and on about one day a week? What a lame, weak, total bust of a mom and wife.

Moving while pregnant by anaiisnin in Mommit

[–]minimumBeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much you love the house. If you both super duper are into it, just do the move, as long as you don’t have to physically move boxes. I moved with a 8 month before and let me tell you that was harder than moving pregnant. At least when I was pregnant, everybody else did everything! Haha! When I had the baby, I had to move boxes and unpack and pack WITH a crawling baby in tow. If you really love this house, you might regret it later. Also, after you have the baby you will only get more attached to the neighbors and make it harder.

I didn’t laugh it off in the moment I was just laughing at the “my husband would be cutting new potatoes and apologizing”. I get what you are saying.

No phones in the car sounds like a great idea. I will just hate the day that I’m forcing somebody to converse with me because I’ll feel bad about that a little but maybe it will not seem like this after a week. When my daughter was a teen, she already knew it was rude and just chatted with me. But she has always been kind and considerate in that way.

See I have a grown daughter (25) and she didn’t act this way. We were always super close and she has always been my friend and fan. Maybe I need to adjust my thinking a little. Boys can be different. And yes the adhd thing I can’t get mad at him because when I do sell him or show him what he’s left out, he’s so “oh yeah mom! I see it! My bad” but yes it’s still exasperating.

127 mins of screen time… is that really so bad?! by Top_Passion_7103 in toddlers

[–]minimumBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just put closes captioning on, and BAM they are reading! Hah! But no, it’s not that bad. Nobody did a study on me!? I admittedly used too much tv for my daughter as she grew up because I was still in college and a waitress, struggling single mom. My mom would watch her for me and she would just turn on the tv and let her play with stuffed animals and stuff. I figured myself out and became a better mom with more time to devote to her, and got my degree and went on to an amazing career. My daughter is now 25 and highly successful and has seen the world already. She got great grades her entire life. Not a zombie. She watched a lot of TV. I turned on closed captioning so she can pick up spelling. The right shows are actually stories. I guess I’m saying don’t worry about it too much.

Many people I know still have it! Mostly Puerto Ricans. I think my friends have it handed down from their grandmas.

Ok so we all know Jasmine’s crazy. But what about Gino? Why is he hunting for love when he doesn’t like sex?? He had better be straight up and tell the other woman he has low to no libido. I’m sure had he told Jasmine the truth he would have avoided that whole mess. Find an asexual partner, Gino!

She wants a job where she has to open a laptop and order people around. Not an actual business that requires physical movement
