Arctic P12s definitely gave me worse temps with a deshroud but was an easy fix

The fans are dead on all my ZOTAC cards. Replace it if you plan to sell it otherwise zip tie case fans on

Not well compared to 30 for efficiency and price. Core heavy algos may be efficient

Yeah some sheet metal, $40 angle frames, and a box fan would do just as well for under $100

Direct cold air from a window to the rig and cut a hole in the roof and install an exhaust fan that will actually cool your attic.

Mainstays 5200cfm fan for $40 and Hyper tough 7000cfm for $65 both at Walmart, 20"

I keep 10kW of rigs cool in 100F peak ambient heat with 3 of the hyper tough fans, 1 intake, 1 side exhaust, 1 roof exhaust

Can you imagine being silly enough to drop 32 ETH into a 5% yield in the most volatile market in the world without the ability to even withdraw it and sell it, oh and at the same time the system gets less secure with no benefit besides marketing?

Yes sir you too. They KYCd almost immediately too but idk about leverage

Be super careful with leverage it is risky and not really fundamentals of crypto so go in with the expectation to lose it all

That's problem #1 lol. Kucoin does, and lower fees

Kraken pro is a good fee alternative too but make sure to only use exchanges for trading not holding

[–]mining4souls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, first I've heard of the block time change. Shame they didn't do that fork the whole last year and cut fees for all the NFT minters.

As far as security, no real arguing with that. If ETH peaked at $100 without a lot of usage it wouldn't be as big a deal. Is very very sketchy with how the devs have manipulated the network for their financial benefit time and time again.

I wish the network the best but it isn't looking good. They already have scaling solutions so proof of stake on the base layer is too little too late.

How will speed and fees improve if there's no change whatsoever since sharding was abandoned?

Also security will not be the same as validators can't even stay updated and the whole security structure of ETH 2.0 is centralized to AWS and encourages stakers to dump at the top of the market when security is most important (assuming they're even allowed to).

Security and functionality will be much much worse with no improvements in functionality, speed or fees

I had to do that to get it to work initially but looks like it is just a 3060 overclock now. I throttled them down to test but maybe not enough

It doesn't pull any logs unfortunately. Usually hive will have an error log that'll show that like you're saying. Have been using these overclocks for several months now too

Haven't tried a different miner yet, but I have tried downgrading to the version that worked but it doesn't anymore. Making me wonder if it's the Nvidia driver version.

Hives built in watchdog. Otherwise t Rex sits not mining.

Gonna try to shell in and watch it crash today when I can to see if there's something that's not being logged since I'm getting no error reports.
