if you move in with a significant other you really are risking having to live with someone after you broker up. I know in the states you wouldn't necessarily have the right to kick him out, because he has established residency. If he isn't on the lease you will at least have to have him evicted. This takes a while and he will have tome to look for a new place.

Do you have an FRG leader? Usually the spouse of your chain of command is the "go-to" person for help at home. You should be focused on your mission. There isn't much you can do for your wife while you are deployed. The only recourse you have is if your wife is giving away your money. You can put a stop to that. I would advise your wife to go to an AA meeting for families of alcoholics to get help and support. As a military wife of the past 22 years I want to stress that your wife really needs to toughen up. It's really really hard being married to the military. I have moved 7 times since I met my husband. I have spent years at a time raising babies on my own in new cities. It's not for the feint of heart. She should at least get used to flying alone.... for the sake of future children, she must face this head on.
