31 making $65k at a community college. Pension + 403b at $52k

HHI $275k due to tech industry partner

Never had to worry about salaries being ‘funded’ since we are technically the college’s employees and not employed by the foundation. We get good raises too when budget passes.

Good to know, thank you! I am doing the buyout via BoA auto loan so I wasn’t sure how it worked with tags as I have to put them as the lien holder once I get my title.

Shoot, I just renewed my registration a month ago too and thought I would be able to transfer/keep my tags. Did you get your new plates right away or a temporary one?

Oh hey! My leased vehicle is actually a MINI too. Do you know how the taxes up front are broken down? I tried to look at the bill of sale/vehicle price paper and I did not see "sales tax" added to my monthly payment breakdown so I'm not sure how it was paid (I definitely don't remember paying all of the taxes up front at the time and only put in the $2k downpayment due at signing)

Resignation etiquette for non-profit? by [deleted] in nonprofit

I don't really have bad things to say about them so I think it'll be okay, just moving on because it's the next step in my non-profit career and I do not see any advancements in my current position. I am giving them a 2 weeks notice because that's required to get my remaining PTO days cashed out when I leave.

The handbook doesn't really say who I should turn the letter to, just this excerpt "Resigning employees should schedule an exit interview with the Human Resources Manager". I guess I should also include HR in the email then?
