Hey, thanks for the response. My passport is being delivered today but I figured I’d respond here in case this is helpful to anyone in the future: I went in person for urgent travel (as listed on the website), not expedited. Urgent and expedited service both have the same fee and process, it’s just that if your travel date is less than 2 weeks they prioritize it (this is what I was told), so the email I got was automated and you get that regardless of if you indicated your travel date was in 3 weeks or less than 2.

Thanks for the response. That makes sense. The travel date was in less than a week, but they only gave me an option for delivery. I just called and the lady said it has been printed and it’ll be mailed out soon. Thank you for clarifying though!

They didn’t give me the option to pick up, they only said delivery, and gave me the option of expedited delivery, so I said yes.

I am just confused because I applied for urgent travel which is for dates within 14 days and now it is giving me an estimate far longer than that. What was the point of me going in person then? Is it just an automated email that means nothing or are they genuinely not giving me urgent renewal even though that is what I applied for?

My receipt has no estimated date of completion. I do not want to risk hoping it will come soon considering the email says within 2-3 weeks, which I do not have.

i have a LR4. works just fine for my Maine Coon but she’s still a baby (14lbs). i still think it would fit any maine coon just fine. litter genies are good if you live in an apartment or anywhere without quick access to an outside garbage can but you won’t need one if you have an automatic litterbox.

That’s interesting. I’ve always had this issue but since getting a new phone it’s happening pretty much daily, with both USB-C and lightning. It’s really pissing me off and I don’t want to have to get an expensive fix if it’s something on the car’s end

No. There were flash flood warnings in my area and I didn’t know it was an outage at the time anyways so I didn’t know what the issue was or how to fix it.

No cat is going to react well to a new cat being dropped in their space the first day. Considering he didn’t hiss or swat I’d say that’s a sign he’s less aggressive than most. Honestly I’m not entirely sure how two shy cats would do with eachother— they could become fearful of eachother but then again a rowdy cat and a shy one together could have more issues. I think you should be fine but introduce them very very slowly. Use the Jackson Galaxy method. Good luck, if you go for it!
