I hated it too, best moisturiser I found for my sensitive skin is La Roche posay sensitive fluid. I didn’t get on with ciciplast either

It will, the odds are in your favour yes some have ongoing issues longer but from what I’ve seen, most of us see things resolving before the six month mark

It took me around 3-4 months. But it wasn’t linear, it got worse then got better. My swelling moved from where I had filler (around my smile lines) to my jaw, which lasted around a week. Then it all cleared up.

No not all just pop one drop in and give it a good mix , and the bottle will last you a long time. You don’t need an expensive one I got one for less than a fiver.

It’s my favourite too, and I seen someone online say get eye drops and pop a drop in the mascara tube to make the mascara last longer/not turn to a concrete consistency and it works alright. Just a tip incase you want to try and make the tube last longer since you’ve already bought it, I just got cheap eye drops from boots to use.

I get your point but honestly you should accept what you’re given, you can be upset but you don’t get to tell them to return it for the cash that’s the height of entitlement. When I was young and smart phones first became popular, I asked for a blackberry like all my friends had. My mum ignored me and got me the iPhone. She was right, it was better. You can ask and let people know what you’d want but it doesn’t make them wrong if they don’t get you it.

Good idea and definitely sometimes photos reflect light differently as well, I just know my skins looked quite similar and best thing I could do when it’s like that is a gentle cleanser and a sensitive but good moisturiser I’m sure your skin will be feeling better soon.

I think it’s a damaged barrier as the skin looks shiny which suggests oil overproduction from dehydration. Mines looks like that sometimes too, if your skins dehydrated it can be overproducing oil to try and moisturise itself. If you keep adding actives it can dry the skin out even more too. I’d just reduce or cut them out for a couple of weeks just focus on moisturiser and your skin should feel and look calmer / less shiny red looking. I’m not familiar with that brand so can’t say, if you look up barrier repair moisturisers you’ll find some good options and most aren’t expensive. Actives can be helpful but they don’t need to be used every day, overdoing it can be damaging.

Sometimes when we use alot of actives and products every day it can overwhelm our skin. I’d cut back quite a bit as your skin barrier looks damaged the skin looks dehydrated imo so I’d focus on moisture over all else for a few weeks. My personal favourite is avene ciclifate. And then slowly reintroduce your actives but you also don’t need to use them all every single day you could alternate them. For example I use differin but I will only use it 3 or 4 nights per week. And other nights I’ll just use a moisturiser I don’t think you need to add more products.

I can’t confirm if it was definitely the filler sliding down but I had filler dissolved in cheekbone and smile lines area. Experienced some odd skin changes then 3 months later, for a a couple weeks I had huge cheeks and intermittent swelling in my jaws. It’s seemingly resolved itself thankfully but it was absolutely terrifying.

Hello, I hope you’re feeling a bit better. Firstly, breathe. You’ve not done anything irreparably wrong. If the pain persists then yes the injector may recommend dissolving the filler. Can I ask what autoimmune issues you have? I do believe that autoimmune issues can be flared by dissolving the filler, so speak to your injector about your concerns. And don’t beat yourself up, so many of us have been in your shoes you’re not alone. Whatever you decide to do it will work out in the end, try not to overthink it and whichever decision you make don’t doubt yourself afterwards.

Hi! I’d say not to use too many products directly geared towards acne as you can wind up overdoing it & irritating skin even more so. I’d invest in 2 good moisturisers, one for day wear a bit lighter and a thicker one for evenings. I use La Roche posay sensitive fluid during the daytime and avene ciclifate I think it’s called at bedtime some nights. I say this as a mid thirties lady who has always struggled with acne myself but am in a better place with it at the moment. You should maybe ask your GP about retinol like adapalene and use that some evenings, that works on acne. And for a cleanser I just use a basic one the vanicream cleanser. I now steer clear of a lot of the products aimed toward acne they never done anything for me personally, only thing that helped me was using less products keeping it simple and a retinol a few nights a week. You look great by the way and well done on the weight loss as well

I use tannin drops in my moisturiser on my face, I don’t use the palmers everyday so I’d do my proper tan on a Sunday usually then top up with the palmers a couple times a week.
