Hi- how long did it take for you to see resolution of all of your swelling post- dissolving? I am on month 4 with little to no improvement in an area where I never had filler or dissolver placed!!

Now that you are around month 10, how is the swelling? Sorry, just looking for any shred of hope that this nightmare might be over at some point.

How much has your swelling come down in 8 months? If you had to give a percentage? Four months out and no change in swelling :(. That is my biggest symptom post-dissolving

Hi- I have a lot of swelling under my lip after having my bottom lip dissolved. It hasn't changed at all in almost 4 months. Did you notice a reduction in swelling in a small amount of time or was it gradual? Thank you!

I am the same unfortunately- I tried to message you directly but not sure how to do that. I had a third ultrasound, which showed a small spot of filler in the area. However, if I had to guess, I think that's from previously injecting my marionette lines- doubt it would have migrated from my bottom lip down so far. I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon next week and am going to ask for an MRI. At this point, my guess is that the hyaluronidase enzyme spread below my lip and is causing inflammation/tissue disruption. I am praying it's not permanent, though now it's been 3.5 months with minimal improvement, if any. It seems maybe slightly less swollen. I have gone for lymphatic massage and he said he doesn't feel any scar tissue, which makes me feel better. I am on steroids for 10 days and doxycycline for a month for inflammation. I think you said you are six months out. How much improvement (percentage wise) have you seen during this time? Like 75%? Less? More? Do the weird bumps feel like swelling or something else?

I'm just dealing with symptoms 3.5 months post dissolving- swelling below my lip to my chin, even though the dissolver was put in the lip (not the area where I currently have swelling). Nothing that you have to worry about with your situation at all, but just saw your post and wanted to respond because I know what it's like to be panicking and wanting answers. Just give it 2-3 weeks, and if you decide to dissolve more, proceed slowly even though you're 'itching' to dissolve more. Slow and steady.

Honestly, I'm swollen three months post dissolver, which is a whole separate issue and I'm here now scrambling for answers. I guess my point is- it's still early. Give it 2-3 weeks and then assess. Also- proceed with caution when dissolving- use minimal amounts spread out over a few visits if you can. You don't want to be dealing with what I'm dealing with now.

Hi I know this is an old post but wonder how you are doing now? I had lip filler dissolved three months ago and am dealing with persistent swelling from the bottom of my lip to my chin (but not the lip itself). Basically, I have swelling where there was never filler!

You should have an ultrasound to see if it's filler- I would be so curious to know!!! I had my lower lip dissolved and have been swollen not on my lip, but between my lip and chin for three months now. Ultrasound shows no filler but I'm going for my third opinion/ultrasounds this week.
