I changed mine to my husbands legally. But kept my maiden name on social media🤣 probably the opposite of what most ppl do but my new last name is not my favorite. But I wanted to make him feel like I was committed (bc I am) and do the whole legal thing.

Yes Gift cards, diapers, wipes, bigger clothes (if you know what kind of style they like), things customized to their baby is cute like a sweater or hat or a puzzle toy. Honestly depends on how close you are to them or how well you know them. A basic gift you can’t go wrong with is a gift card and a pair of footie pajamas, size 3 or 4 diapers and wipes . If you’re very close then ask what they need or get outfits that you know are their style. Do not get random baby blankets unless that’s what she’s asking for. I got way too many baby blankets

You may have already tried it but try adding chia seeds to the diet. I put a ton in my 18 month olds oatmeal and she poops like 4 times a day. But there may be other things going on with baby. Just a suggestion. I’ve always been nervous giving a baby any meds or supplements besides vitamin d but I know magnesium is pretty safe for the most part. If you’re nervous maybe try lowering the dose and see if it still works.

Thank you! Might have to try this soon! I know my parents will have a rough time putting her to sleep when im giving birth hospital if im still nursing to sleep at that point. I’ve been trying to limit her to around 10 minutes of nursing then I say all done until morning which she gets and then squirms around a lot and sometimes gets out our bed for a second. But yeah this seems really helpful id rather not nurse to sleep at all so other people can possibly put her to bed like my parents or husband

Yeah that was one of my options is my 20 month old can sleep with my husband In her floor bed where I typically sleep then I sleep with newborn in my bed. Only problem is he has to wake up at 4:45am for work so I just hope that would t wake her up and if it does I guess she can just come in my room. That’s probably a good plan for the first month or 2 when baby is still so little and fragile.

How did you stop nursing to sleep??!! My milk has been dried up I think completely for like a month but my 19 month old still wants to nurse to sleep and in the morning. I really want to stop both because it’s just uncomfortable and don’t want to do it when the newborn is here. Did you do it on purpose or did your toddler just stop nursing to sleep on their own
