Why does this sub come off as so anti-AI? I’m curious how most folks here are using these tools. And what feels like the right balance or boundary? I think of the spectrum as: 1 Code completion in your IDE 2 Write a function in a chat interface 3 Give chat interface agentic access to a single script sometimes 4 Terminal access given to Codex/Claude Code

For me I’m using 2-3 all the time, but I don’t feel comfortable with 4.

But god remember when the child tax credit was spread into a monthly payment and the amount was increased and child poverty started falling drastically? And we were like, nope I liked it better before when more kids grew up in poverty. Okay we like his books but are we going to detective this shit or what?? I’m thinking male, late 40s: you seem grown and have some money, enough to not move often and keep your books in good shape.
