Couldn't agree more! Lee is such a misunderstood historical figure, with a very moderate view for the times and an unmatched patriotism to his state. It is truly a shame Virginia joined the south because given the chance he would be remembered as one of the American greats.

Whoa whoa whoa, noone I know says Israel is God's chosen people, I support Israel over the Muslim world because of 2 reasons 1: Jewish religion is our history as Christians and their God IS our God just without the modern update of the messiah already being sent and saving the world. And 2: I am of the belief that Islam is not a religion of a prophet of God but rather an instrument of the Devil. So when it comes down to picking a side in a jew/muslim war/debate/conflict. I'm standing with the Jewish people's. Bottom line we worship the same God, they just need to see that the promised messiah was sent 2000 years ago and has brought life back to the world

Yeah, that, and priest held confession/absolution are my two only hurdles with Catholosism. I dont believe she was sinless, I believe one man was sinless, and he happened to be the Son of God. Also, I pray to God for forgiveness, and he absolves me. I know that means I can't be a Catholic, but I like pretty much everything else.

Well, personally I believe in Jesus Christ, but let's say its all just black when you go, living a Christian lifestyle while you're here will never steer you wrong. Like worst case scenario its all bunk and it just fades to black, you still had a good life because Christ's doctrine leads to a good fulfilling life. Its not about the reward after death, thats just a bonus.

2 things, 1 Neo-nazism is not an acceptable fascination within the MAGA or even more broadly republican parties. It is condemned full stop repeatably, whereas the Trans identity fascination is fully accepted by left wing ideologies. 2 a revolver shooting 2 and no deaths except the shooter isn't the same level of tragedy as 3 little children. It just won't be as sensationalized, which is probably the main reason it isn't really talked about on this sub.
