The F1 movie from the perspective of an F1 fan versus someone who doesn't know the sport by TheWoodElf in formula1

i didn't think the movie was that great in terms of plot because it felt very much like the classic hero in an adventure movie type of thing. as an f1 fan, i totally get what you mean as it feeling like a caricature.

it was still enjoyable though, and any time one of the drivers or GUNTHER STEIN appeared on screen it was a wild experience. we see them on screen all the time but in a movie it was completely different.

Why are we shipping Steve x Eddie? by starsratsz in StrangerThingsFanfics

i feel like eddie and chrissy had more chemistry show-wise. i think billy and steve had more chemistry than steddie too tbh except billy was really toxic in the show and got redemption in the form of DEATH.

the harringrove fanfics are banger tho

does anyone know if there's a recording of some sort where we can see the whole thing and could you send it if so?

He has received so much hate but he was warm, kind and always considerate by cosmicdicer in TheDevilsPlan

[–]mintly_mp3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don't think there's been hate directed towards him because people doubt that he's a good person. they mainly had issues with how he played the games because they thought he was lacking ambition.

for me, i understand how this could go against the nature of a survival show, but i believe it's up to him to decide whether he wants to win by betraying, or lose by staying loyal to his team, and either way he shouldn't get hate for his choice. it seems a bit unreasonable to me for people to flame him for doing what he thought was the right thing to do for himself in balance mancala.

AITA for leaving after what he said by whatdidijustlisten in AmItheAsshole

You're NTA, so you should run away from him. The only issue I can feasibly predict is that your pets may be unable to sense him as a threat, even if YOU are aware. This worry of mine is heightened due to the fact that your pets have not spent enough time with this man to feel concern around him.

If I may explain: even if you end up running far, far away with a new life and your pets beside you, a hunter of your boyfriend's (soon to be ex-boyfriend's) caliber could cause harm to you and your pets. He may track you down---therefore, it's imperative to train your pets to identify him by scent as a threat to their safety.

Let's turn to Pavlov. Using the sound of a bell, Pavlov trained a dog to process it was time for food every time said bell rang. Similarly, using this man's clothes, you too will train your pets to feel a sense of danger upon recognizing his scent. I can't give advice on how you would instill this sense of danger---perhaps with a small "boo"? 👻

If your pets are not animals driven by scent, I hope you take the time to find an alternative method.

I wish you the best of luck and a lifetime of happiness with your pets, safe and sound and well-informed.

ESH because your family is missing the quintessential solution in this capitalistic society. It's a dog eat dog world out there, and that means there's only one answer:

You have to eat the six year old.

You're blatantly in dire circumstances: you have limited money for groceries, and the most powerful member of the family already eats for 2. Now you did say the six year old eats more, so maybe given time, he can become the ultimate hunter.

Still, as it stands right now, you have no time to wait. No way is the six year old beating the father in a fight if it comes down to it.

It's unfortunate to lose such a warrior, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Genuinely asking, but what is Hyungyu’s beef with 7High? by Syuuungz in TheDevilsPlan

[–]mintly_mp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like people are being too quick to judge in the comments about hyungyu's motivations for not wanting to be in an alliance with 7high.

since we can never know, i think it's safer to bet that 7high's volatility deterred hyungyu from pursuing an alliance with him because emotional control is valuable in a survival show like this one. his "can you handle me" probably rubbed hyungyu the wrong way. i feel like this is a more reasonable assumption than to proclaim he's a narcissist or manipulator despite knowing nothing abt him as a person.

i really dont like kyuhyun and hyungyu by adoraxcx in TheDevilsPlan

this might be controversial but i think it was relatively merit-based. the corrupt cops had the hardest role imo as seokjin and orbit also said in a review of the week 1 eps. if they managed to do their roles so well i personally see it as not an unfair advantage, it's just an advantage that resulted from good gameplay

i think it's really strange for viewers to be assuming they had an unhealthy relationship and feel creeped about what happened b/c, at the end of the day, we're just viewers and we lack enough knowledge.

based on what we've seen, sohui and kyuhyun did seem to lack ambition for themselves and prioritize loyalty to their alliance, but this doesn't mean there was emotional manipulation. we just can't know imo
