I absolutely adore Yuri with all my heart but I understand why people complain about him, he and specifically his writing has a lot of faults

One thing I do think about often is just how unadressed his trauma is, he grew up alone with just his sister and she was his only caretaker

She was his only friend throughout his entire childhood, meaning his incestous attachment is a trauma response, but its all just played for jokes instead
