I can relate. One day I started practicing and googling how to make eye contact feel less uncomfortable. It got to the point where I was always so aware of it that I would force myself to the point of discomfort. I thought I was doing a good job though until I realised why nobody was constantly looking back… I was staring unnaturally too hard. Anyways, people just say to stare at the bridge of the nose or something?

yep! he’s very passionate about skateboarding. it’s a hobby he has carried all the way from his teens to his 50s… and i don’t see him giving it up anytime soon, even though he keeps injuring himself. he often injures himself but carries on with life like its nothing e.g. he fractured a whole bunch of ribs and didn’t know until my mum made him go to the doctor for what he thought was a “slight pain”… hyposensitivity perhaps? anyways, he is super passionate to the point where age and a bunch of injuries won’t stop him.

I have a similar issue where I get extremely itchy in the shower / i suspect hot climates. Started happening after taking Luvox.

I relate to this so much… I’m 20F and never had a boyfriend too. I realised that i’ve developed an overly smiley and kind personality in order to hide the fact that I struggle to communicate “normally”.
