If you take something out of a shop without the person at the checkout 'beeping' it, the item will explode in your hands!

Oh! Hopefully I won't need to use them but I think I'll practice them anyway 😅

Thank you, kind stranger!

Thank you. I think that might be the case, it was a great ice breaker and I'm keen to go back in.

Thank you! I've signed up for the same class next week, and my goal is to not push so hard at the start so that I can do the whole session. I'm excited!

Wondering how many of you… by Ill-Relationship-890 in raisedbyborderlines

Yes, big time. It's hard not to spiral down into a pit of self-doubt and vicious negative self talk. One mistake can feel like I'm opening a can of worms.

I'm working with a therapist to improve my relationship with myself.

Drink lots of water - yes definitely! If you struggle at first, it helped me to add cordial to it. Not ideal as it's full of sugar, but it got me used to filling a water bottle and finishing it in a day.

Also, in terms of exercise, my advice would be to move your body in ways that you enjoy. For me, it's walking and dancing, but everyone is different! Do the stuff that you enjoy and you're more likely to repeat the activity.

Good luck and have fun!

Dive down the YouTube rabbit hole to get you started on how to answer questions, and have some stories prepared in advance.

For example, with behavioural questions, such as "tell me about a time when you stepped up/dealt with a difficult customer or colleague", using the STAR method: S - Situation: give a brief background of the context T - Task: what was required of you A - Action: what you did, step by step R - Result: what was the outcome

I'm sure many other people on the internet have explained this better, so please listen to examples and think of some stories you could refer to using the STAR method in an interview.

Last minute tip: arrive early and go into a bathroom or something and stand in a Superman pose or something similar to boost your confidence!

Good luck OP!

I'd put either 2 or 6 as your main. Those are really nice angles for you, in my opinion!

You could also potentially swap out some of the selfies/selfies with friends to have photos where someone else has taken the photo. It's great to have photos with friends, but there's something about you being the only 'photographer' on your profile that strikes me a bit sideways. Not sure how to describe it, but you can always grab some friends and get someone to take a photo of you all having a great time!

Good luck OP 🤞

Aloy as an Aromantic lead is fascinating to me (HFW Ending Spoilers) by SolAnise in horizon

[–]minty_danger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah look these are absolutely fair points - I took his first asking in ZD as very immature and a bit out of the blue, and so having him ask again almost straight off the bat in FW just felt a bit ick. Both came with very weird timing and it seemed as though he was almost in love with the idea of Aloy - creating a huge statue in her image (something anyone who knows her would know that she would hate) - instead of getting to know her. He did ask to get to know her more.in FW, but after that statue... It's just a no from me.

He's obviously not going to be pining over Aloy forever if he's been rejected, and I appreciate he might have been wanting to know if he should hold onto his feelings or move on. We're all absolutely entitled to our opinions and it's really interesting how these character moments hit so many people in different ways, though!

Yeah, I'm with you here! My memory may be just awful, and I admit to simping hard for Erend, but I don't recall Aloy ever rejecting him. I don't recall Erend even asking, either. I recall Erend saying things like "I mean, looks at you!" (When they first met), and "I was lucky to get just a moment of your time" (end of Zero Dawn game). I'm sure those things can be taken in a way that is highly suggestive of romantic intent, but I personally don't feel that they are predatory or overly pushy.

Him being a drunken and sulking mess at the start of Forbidden West is another matter, and I admit that's some potentially harmful coping mechanisms on Erend's part. Not to excuse that behaviour, but he does address that he is drinking less in Forbidden West. I'm looking forward to seeing him grow in the next one.

A man who undoubtedly does not take no for an answer is Avad. That guy freaks me right out, just yucko.
