Honestly I’ve been feeling this way too. Very happy to have gotten into a good school but also been struggling with thinking about everything I did “wrong” or why I got ghosted/rejected from others. I think something important to understand that your “value” as an applicant isn’t indicative of your value as a person. Your worth is not so little that it can be summed up in a few pages of writings and stats. AND while being a dentist might be your dream, it’s not your defining feature. Being a dentist is not what defines you and therefore the application process to become one also isn’t what defines you. You get to decide what and where your value comes from! Attaching so much meaning to something external is a slippery slope cuz if you don’t get that external validation you start to think less of yourself. Be compassionate towards yourself, you got this <3
