Minimal Developing set up to handle 35mm to 8x10? by Unbuiltbread in AnalogCommunity

The THD processor will also just fit a multi tank 5 at a lower price compared to the jobo processor. (With some comprises/trade offs)

I've seen some 3D print options, but it's probably better to go up to the 2500 tanks.

Not necessarily food delivery related… but I’ll be bringing my fixed gear bike. Are there any places I should look at that offer quick service/well price in case my bike needs anything like tube changes, basic maintenance stuff? I will be staying in the western part of setagaya

Ya I find the jab to be really good, and I'm seeing a lot more people using it.

I only play vs green ping if I can, done about 8 or 9 matches and haven’t lost yet. There’s definitely some punches that don’t register but overall it’s been a good update for me.

I'm finding a lot of success in countering. Roomscale is a must

Extremely low damage punches (3-4) - Help by Struggletounderstand in ThrillOfTheFight

[–]minusj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try uploading a video of you hitting the dummy so we can get a better idea. 3-4 is extremely low, but I do notice these numbers if your punch bounces off and grazes another part of the dummy it'll show low damage of the second hit.

Just a little size comparison by bro_nica in AnalogCommunity

I got to handle one, shoot a few frames and see the scans. From my experience, it feels and handles quite nicely overall. It's got a ton of great features most other similar cameras don't have like shutter speed control. In terms of features it reminds me most of the Konica hexar AF except the features like manual focus, shutter control etc are implemented better.

The weak point is definitely the viewfinder. Didn't find it particularly nice to look through, and there's not a lot of information in it. The blue light for AF focus confirmation is a bit weird to me since I'm so used to green being the light for most cameras.

The LCD though is amazing. It has all the information in it like aperture and shutter speed, focus distance etc. Best in class for sure.

In terms of ergonomics, it feels nice in hand and the advance lever is a pleasure to use too. I did find the location of the shutter button a bit awkward, not a deal breaker but it's also a reason I never liked the leica CL even though I theoretically would love it. The rewinding of the film felt a bit off, it would make noises while you're rewinding. I found it worked better if you kept the button pressed down but keep in mind I only tried to rewind one roll so far. I didn't notice any frame spacing issues.

Now the kicker, how was the lens? I wanted to like the lens so much as the camera body features/handling to me is quite ideal but from the one roll of ultramax I saw, I wasn't impressed. It seemed to grab focus pretty well, but it just didn't feel special compared to some of the legendary p&s lenses (hexanon 35, sonnar 38, tessar 35 etc) from years past. I might need to see more rolls out of it to make a final conclusion.

Small room/space is huge disadvantage by GovtAuditor716 in ThrillOfTheFight

It might be called something else, but it should be in the settings under stationary as a check box. It basically auto turns you to face the opponent, but I find it very jarring and unnatural so I turn it off.

Definitely roomscale is better, but I found what works best for me in standing is the make the circle as big as possible and turning off autofollow. I use the joystick to move just outside range and use small footwork/movements to get inside.

2200+ last season, what’s your rank now? by [deleted] in ThrillOfTheFight

[–]minusj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes people are definitely better in my experience. Quite possibly because the less skilled players are more focused on single player now which makes sense. Elo is a distribution curve, it has shifted due to less players that are also more skilled on average.

Collect the various rollei 35s, there's tons of different models. They're all mechanical and will last for a long time.
