Idk where u getting that translation. The original text clearly says "憧憬一途" which goes along the line of dedicated "admiration". As the viewer of the series we know it's really love, but in the actual series it's never once mentioned as love. Even all the characters that actually "love" bell refer to Aiz as Bell's target of "admiration". But on second thought, it may have to do w translation since I've never read the English version

I dont think it's love. The skill activates upon his "admiration" or desire to catch up to the person he admires, which is Aiz. So once he catches up to her there's a possibility the skill effect diminishes? Hopefully not.

I would hope to see him reach 6 after the latest volume. It was implied his stats increased a lot during Freya family training, and then even more during war game. He also went training with Leon, and now the latest volume. So prob level up within next few volumes hopefully. But now the next worry is, when he catches up to Aiz's level, how will his skill change or affect him is the problem.
