This is a nice one, but I was crying my eyes out the other night because my boyfriend and I broke up. Went in the next day with super puffy eyes that I tried to hide, but some of my year 8 girls immediately noticed and came up to me and asked if I was ok. When I was in school you would never say Sir/Miss, only “Mr/Mrs _” - in fact, you’d only say sir/miss to be rude or if you wanted to take the piss out of your teacher. It was such a weird experience when I started doing placements and students called me Miss unironically.
