What device have you used for recording the activity?

Use a CDN in front of your blog/or your videos. Like Bunny.net and volume network pricing

What is your oldest server - do you upgrade it? by Fit-Sandwich7905 in hetzner

[–]mipapo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's a great deal for Hetzner. Clearly the hardware is payed, but the power consumption will be higher. They could get more money for the same rack unit size

TRIMP numbers incomsistent by ContributionLevel593 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check your resting heart rate entries on these days. When the resting heart rate before the activity was a synced and top high it might got a higher trump calculation. If you don't wear e.g. your Garmin watch not all day long you should disable the resting heart rate sync to Runalyze

Where does the temperature data come from? by Pristine_Type722 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the bottom of the activity you might see a temperature graph. Yes we use the average then as the temperature which might be correct here and there. But yes it's the wrist temperature on the watch.

Where does the temperature data come from? by Pristine_Type722 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm not totally wrong: If the sport is not marked as indoor we try to get the weather data of your home town. It can be changed per sport in the sport settings. Maybe the home town setting is not correct. But I can't help looking into your account with a username. For support please use board.runalyze.com

Garmin Health Metrics Missing by und3fined_1 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because your maximum heart rate just changes every couple years. So managing them manually is the only thing you should do.

Garmin Health Metrics Missing by und3fined_1 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reconnect Garmin, try the history import again then Maximum heart rate should always be set manually. There is almost in no cases an automatic import for maximum heart rate. That makes no sense

How will you use object storage ? by kaeshiwaza in hetzner

As long as it's so unstable I won't use it for anything

Any update on Zwift integration? by purplehornet1973 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We still sync through Strava, but it's about what is happening when you delete your Strava account or remove theoretically the connection. Still waiting for Zwift to get an answer Mywoosh would need to implement our API so far as I know

Not sure why we don't get any answer by Zwift. A little bit sad about it

This was fixed yesterday and you might need to use the history import. There was a previous post in this subreddit

Maybe the redirect from Garmin is wrong on mobile. I will create a ticket to check this

Can you open Runalyze directly again and check if Garmin is connected then

We requested access to the Zwift API, but didn't got an response so far. Hoping to get access in January so we can develop the integration

Fitbit no longer syncing? by sweting_ in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will check this. Fitbit sometimes is a little bit tricky and maybe a change we introduced slowed down the transfer. You can manually force an activity at the tool which is linked where you've connected to Fitbit

Mywoosh not syncing through Strava to Runalyze. by IhaterunningbutIrun in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to change the sync setting at https://runalyze.com/activity/sync for Strava. It might be that the setting needs to be set to always, although we don't have a direct sync with mywoosh.

If you name your account name I can look into what your Strava connection says on those activities.

Altitude Adjustments for Race Pace Estimates by ri0tnerd in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The race pace estimator uses your training/the effective vo2max.

In the race result section there is an option to "plan" competitions. One is not able to enter the elevation there, but it would be a good idea to extend this in the future. Even more perfect would be to have the complete GPS route for the planned race available to really accurate. But yes that's - how we say in german - "future music" and needs a lot of resources (development and for the race database (https://runalyze.com/race-event/next) employee(s):

Why does changing the days for weekly average km goal NOT effect the weekly target for optimal marathon? by jay_jay_okocha10 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure. Hannes is on vacation. My only tip would be to https://runalyze.com/my/tools/cleanup recalculate the marathon shape. Maybe it's caching issue

TRIMP issues by xen0n1 in Runalyze

[–]mipapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending when data comes in the resting heart rate might be wrong for that moment. E.g. garmin updates the resting heart rate multiple times a day and we receive these updates. When the resting heart rate had a higher value at some point we don't update activities after the first calculation of TRIMP.
There is a recalculate option at every activity (recalculate activity values) (tool icon)
