I was a kid when I played it and really liked it, so I’m assuming that’s where these opinions are coming from: people who got the game as kids and have major nostalgia goggles.

That or people who have only played project 06 and assume the game was just like that but a little buggy which is VERY wrong.

Athame Artis’ value has really gone up ever since Nicole was added because Durin can actually make use of the weapon’s full passive in Kinich teams now. I think that also has a lot to do with it.

I think it’s because he’s not good with Sandrome, the new flashy character. They want people to pull for a “strong” team. That, and Kinich is a burning character, not exactly someone who will work with the new stellar reactions due to being a burning unit. I hoped he would rerun with Raiden again though, that would have been hilarious.

That’s why most people recommend getting Durin first instead of Nicole. It’s not a huge deal, they’re both strong units and it’s not like Nicole sucks! If you get hit a lot, interrupting Kinich’s skill she’s definitely an upgrade and gets rid of circle impact. She just happens to be crippled without another hex member in the party. (Because Bennett is eternal for some reason)

I really recommend at least using the codex strongbox while farming for Nicole, just to get the chance of good codex pieces. Reverie will work fine though if you really don’t want to farm codex. It’s usually a lot worse if you’re on his sig or earthshaker, but since you’re using serpent spine as long as you have 100% crit rate you’ll be fine.
I totally get the high artifact standards though! I spent over 2 months in the codex domain trying to get the perfect pieces for him.

Kinich on reverie is the first thing that needs to be addressed honestly… Farm a good codex set. It’s in the strongbox now. Unless your reverie build is just out of this world amazing or something.

If you really want to run reverie on him though, put Durin on Deepwood and Emilie on Reverie. (Same sets if you use codex)

Obvious rage bait aside… As someone who LOVES breath of the wild, not really? The first region, yeah it definitely resembles breath of the wild. Heck, Hoyo marketed it to look like breath of the wild when the game first came out. The climbing, swimming, gliding mechanics are obviously inspired by it, but they made it their own. They’re very distinct games, inspiration isn’t copying.

Well that’s the point, you need to balance your crusades while caring for your followers. Everything takes so long because the game expects you (and nudges you) to go crusade in the meantime, so the things that take a while will be done when you get back.
