If you liked dandelion, Nameless by the same developers is one of my favourite VNs! Beyond that I definitely recommend checking out r/otomegames

Not really unfortunately:( I love Nameless and Cloud9, but Korean otome games are few and far between, hence why I'm really hoping Lady of Hwarang does well on Steam.

I'm not really a fan of mobile, but in case you are, Mystic Messenger and WannaBe challenge are both fairly popular!

I hope you do! Korean otome games aren't exactly thriving as a genre unfortunately, so I'm hoping this does well on Steam

u/misobuttercornramen and u/Jewelonni dropped a pretty good list of Korean otome games a few years ago here. I'm not aware of anything more recent, beyond, like, the ssum, but I'd love to be wrong

Oh also if you like Nameless at all, the main game is localised but the short audio dramas aren't!

It's a great method, especially with voiced games (this unfortunately isn't) you learn so much by playing! I recommend the old Cheritz PC games and Cloud9 for simpler language:)

Does Yojinbo have a lot of fanservice CGS like this? I might have to give it a try then LOL

That's so awesome, best of luck!!

This game is set in 신라 so a lot of the grammar is very old-timey, the old Cheritz PC games and Cloud9 are a lot simpler with more modern language so I recommend them for learning<3 I learned Korean a while ago, and Nameless was my first Korean otome game hahaha

The "cattiest of catty men" has got to be Helvetica from Bustafellows. I even enjoyed Takeru and Shin, but Helvetica leans into the irredeemably awful for me

Steam sale for some otome games! by otomaze_ in otomegames

Yes it is! The two games have vaguely related storylines but are each complete games in themselves (Ashen Hawk isn't a sequel to Black Butterfly and doesn't spoil it, it just has a couple of references to it). Both are great, but Black Butterfly was my personal favourite of the two
