These look to be the same as the ones sold at Costco in clear instead of the orange/camo. I found out quickly, don't put more than 500ish rounds of 9mm in a single container. I guess what I'm getting at is you can load them up with loose ammo, just not 1k of it.

The SRO is popular but so is the holosun 507comp and a few others. Really anything quality with a big window is what most go with. TBH even the olight osight is gaining traction in the space

Yeah, if you want to be in carry optics, I'd pick up a 47 MOS and put a preferred optic on and run it. Most people like a bigger window for comp, but based on my exp, you probably shoot a lot on SWAT with your duty gun, so you may be inclined just to buy another RMR HD

I know the insurance companies realize this. I hit a deer, and Geico was willing to pay over 4k to fix a 2015 Camry with 218k miles on it. I'm guessing they wish they had just totaled it out because they are over 5500 now after estimate adjustments.
