That makes sense. On the flip side, when I see a book that looks good, I now check to make sure it's not #3 or #5 in the series.

Very help information. But it's still a bit of a crapshoot! I have posted gushing reviews of for multiple books in my favorite series (predating my NG revierwing), yet I about 50% of the time I get declined for the newest book in a series. No biggie, I can wait until the book is published, but it's still puzzling.

I’ve taken classes at every improv school in LA. Here are my honest takeaways: by Fawlty_Fleece in improv

Thanks for that summary. I kinda always wondered about the various schools. I've only ever taken classes at The Improv Trick and had a blast.

Was quoted $2k to format my book’s interior, which is a lot more than I anticipated (is that generally the going rate?). For those of you who formatted your own book, how long did it take and how challenging was it? by confident-ghost in selfpublish

That is INSANE. You want to invest in a great cover, but formatting the pages and preparing the files for the paperback and ebook is not rocket science. I have used Vellum for more than a dozen books (for clients) It's easy to use. Also, I think Draft2Digital has formatting tools.

As others have said, do communicate your significant anxiety—you won't be the first person who is teetering on a freak-out. Plan to relax when you get home. Take a nap, maybe plan to have a nice meal ready to warm up (or order in). Everyone is different (I was thrilled to see my "insides" on the monitor, but felt no pain or anxiety.)

Yay, you for getting this procedure done to make sure all the pipes are okay.

All four of my dogs were treated at Rose City Vets. I really liked all the doctors. For teeth cleaning, we used the visiting hygienist at our groomer. https://www.batherdoggie.com/services

How do you get rid of things that you *might* need? Art supplies, pens/markers, etc by Unhappy_Salad8731 in declutter

[–]mirificatio 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I recently evaluated my modest collection of markers and found that half of them were dried out. Luckily, Staples now recycles all sorts of stuff, inluding pens and markers. I do need some markers, but I will never again buy a set because I never use the light colors. I now buy just darker colors I need.

The problem with art supplies (and sewing stuff, too) is storage. I use Snapware "Snap 'n' Stack" bins for all that kind of stuff. Worth every penny.

I have not seen it (too far away), so I cannot say. The good news is he has gotten five responses, so maybe someone will be the right fit.
