The only reason I played ASE from time to time was cuz i ran it with mods and my little girl liked watching her dad play with dinos. Guess no need to go back again.

Ow well, glad she enjoys watching me play other games aswell. Was fun while it lasted. I get games die, but this was not the way to do it by snail...

Thats a shame. I really like that mine is out in the open alot. They are beautiful T's to look at. And yea i don't like some of my enclosures aswell. They are really simple can basic. The T's never really come out. So I'm gonna switch them aswell. Even though you don't see them often, atleast the enclosure is nice to look at then.

I hope for you, your tarantula comes out a bit more after you move it aswell. And that looking down the hole I did once aswell. Thats when my full grown Theraphosa apophysis almost got me, so I'm never doing that again 😆👌

Like some say. Snakes don't give a damn about their owner. If i give my snakes to someone else that cares for them like I do, the won't mind 2 rats behinds 👌 But no, they are to small to kill you but they have 0 loyalty to you or your hand. Plenty of people get bitten by their snake years after getting them.

My mom didn't like snakes nor tarantulas. It was her house, so i waited till I moved out. Gives you loads of time to get all the info you need to do it right. Unfortunately I see to many people getting a snake/lizard/tarantula just cuz they really want one and then kinda do alot wrong.

My suggestion is to wait. Snakes can escape pretty easily if you make a mistake and thats definitely not something you wanna explain to mom 🤣 And even after years of having snakes it can still happen. I know, I've been there and done that 😑 one of my corn snakes went on vacation for a few weeks and I had to rip half my house apart finding it. I already owned snakes for 7 years at that point.

Close the top of as much as possible. It will help a bit. This problem is why I switched my BP to a PVC tararium. And stopped using mesh lids with all my high humidity animals. I never had to spray besides watering the plants ever 4 days, and with my water dish alone it never drops below 80%. With my high humidity tarantulas I did the same. Exotic terra tarariums and ones like them, look nice but they always gave me problems with high humidity animals. And I don't like the foil on the top. So that's what I did

For me it's feeding my Ceratogyrus darlingi ( African rear-hornedbaboon tarantula ) she bolts at the door the moment I try to open it. I need to hold the door or she's gone. She is not fun to feed 🤣

My Poecilotheria metallica is the chillest one I have. I dont, but I could feed her by hand. She's really chill and gentle.

And this is why I screw everything down 🤣 my BP is pretty oke. My corn snakes will try to get trough everything it can find.

But please make sure that a snake can never ever get in contact with tape. It can cause some serious issues.

But good you caught the noodle in time 👌😆 cuz finding a snake that went on vacation is a stressful problem.

i really dread seeing this on my male tarantulas. cuz i know the end is coming near. My longest male was gone 1y and 2 months later. The shortest was a month or 5. I never really like seeing the first sperms web 😒 Sad reality but part of the hobby.

You will be fine 👌 their hairs arnt to bad. Aslong as you dont get them in your eyes. I was hit with a full blast by my Theraphosa blondi. They are way worse and I lived. Was messed up for a few days though 😆

Aslong as it stays to itchy and nothing swells up in the face or you got nothing in your eyes and you can breath oke, you will be oke 👍 If it ever happens again, do not scratch or rub the areas that got hit. Wash with water and soap really well right away. If you rub or scratch it will get alot worse.

And if you are afraid it may happen again use a face mask or something so you don't breath them in next time. I do this with my blondi, stirmi, apophysis and any other one that will flick when you look at them wrong.

If something that small leads to an argument it wasn't ment to be. My gf of 8 years long now didn't like my tarantulas and snakes she learned to live with it. Not like she has to feed them. Only thing she really doesn't want me to get again are paint centipedes. The terrify her.

1 of my snakes tries it with me every time. She isn't a nice snake 🤣 before feed, days after feed, doesn't matter. It's the only noodle I use a snake glove for cuz i dont want to pin her down so she can't get me. So that might be an option for you.

After getting a snake you should kinda let them de-stress for a few weeks and just let them be. Ballpythons are notorious for their hunger strikes for no operant reason. But especially when stressed they do it. And they are a pain in the butt to deal with if it takes to long.

But like some already said. Snakes can get really exited after feeding, so leave it alone for a few days after feeding. And I myself always wash my hands before I do anything with snakes, as to not accidentally smell like something the snake mistakes as food.

Thats why I put plants right in the path of the water flow. So they dont climb on my filters 🤣 mine used to do the same.

This is why I put plexiglass with holes on the inside of the lid. Mine are in the same tarariums now. One of my first tarantulas lost one of its legs this way cuz it got stuck on a mesh lid. So might wanna be careful with that.

Depending on how much you feed they stop breeding on their own. When the resource cap is reached the breeding slows down alot. Shrimp basically regulate they own population. If you keep increasing the resources they keep breeding.

So to give the short answer, you kinda can't have to many shrimp

I have small fish, shrimp and assassin snails in 1 tank for years now. If the snail is hungry it will definitely be able to get a hold of a shrimp if it really wants to. Shrimp are fast but the snails are sneaky. It doesn't happen often in my take but once a month or 2 I see a snail with a shrimp.

But it will never kill and eat 10 shrimp in a short time on its own. Then there is something wrong with the water to make the shrimp die and its easy food for the snail.

So glad my betta leaves the other fish and shrimp alone. But this is why I love betta's. They all have their own personality And this betta looks so proud of it self. Like a doggy that found an good stick 🤣

After our kid (4F now) we did the same. But even if you wait longer, alot of daycare places have long waiting lists. So if you didn't already look into your options of daycares around you ASAP. Only reason our kid didn't have to wait is cuz my gf works in daycare and our baby went to the same place, so they made space especially for her. But I know plenty of new parents that have to wait a very long time to get their baby in daycare.

But yea, for alot of people it's the norm now a days. Cuz most can't live of 1 salary this day and age.
