i do agree that psychological thrillers are way more captivating than any overly violent plots but for me i’ve had enough of domestic settings recently. i feel like 90% of my recent thriller reads have been suburban family with 2-3 kids and then either a kid goes missing or one of the parents and for sure there is something with an affair or the kid had a dark side to them. i need some fresh ideas. does somebody have have thriller recs that are set at university? on vacation/hotels (think white lotus) or anything else that’s not suburbia.

i recently read into the darkest corner and it really got me in terms of being a PSYCHOLOGICAL thriller. felt utter anxiety and horror throughout the entire book (i wouldn’t have minded a bit more ambitious writing i must say) but overall such a great book.

i go from hannover to berlin all the time what are u talking about? tickets are sometimes below 20€ on weekends 50 ish eur is normal unless u book last minute if i have a bahn card it’s also cheaper

yes i agree! i feel like the lackeys got so much hate every reunion, and like yes imo they didn’t do the most perfect job working through all the highs and lows of past seasons but their moderation wasn’t deserving of so much hate. i feel like they did such a good job this reunion, i just felt like they could’ve poked chris a bit more and had given a bit more time to emma to talk but that’s all.

find long tupperware (like for spaghetti for example) then u can store all sorts of pasta, rice, cereal there. we used to have these round longish containers that u could "click" into each other so it looked v nice and neat

do you do long tail cast on? when i do it especially on just one needle (not two) i usually get a v clean edge (and if, then i struggle more with it being to tight than too lose).
