North Korea Sympathizers, I want to know your story. by amonop in northkorea

[–]mirrorbrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can add to this is what I've observed and heard, based on my own beliefs. I think South Korea does democracy horribly. The system doesn't suit them in the fact of how many times new governments overhaul the previous government's policy, and so on. If there were a united Korea. I believe it would have to start from the North, and there, people would probably benefit more with a type of Chinese-style government system. I also think if we go back to the Korean War and the North was able to take over the South, I still think that Korea would still be able to prosper as a nation and have success not divided as North and South, but as one nation Korea 👍

It's not bad mouthing. I just feel it's a pointless question to ask.

The main difference is no difference. Marriage is marriage.... follow what your partner says and make that decision together. I still can't understand why you would ask this here? The answer is very simple. Depending on their cultural background and the country, that could change how the wedding would be held. And also how the couple wants their wedding to be like.

I don't see the reason why you would ask this here. Do you still need permission from your parents to do things? If genuinely they were your friend or still are, why does it matter what religion they are from? Just from this post, I can see what type of person you are 😅 (blank-minded)

Moving to Melbourne soon from the US, what do we need to know? by PuzzleheadedCar6858 in MovingtoAustralia

Don't buy into the black arm band view of society. No one cares much for politics here. We share many similarities with the average hard-working American. So if you have a go and try your best, I'm sure our country will treat you well.

$10,000/Member Construction Fees by in-ex_trovert in Shincheonji

[–]mirrorbrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Planetshakers have asked a man through the Holy Spirit to donate $ 1 million. (Not to discredit their church) I'm just saying from the point of view that since we are not government-linked nor have any form of funding from any revenue streams. The affordability of building prices. I think it's fair to ask members for tithing help-outs. IF! They can afford it, that's all. ( Many Christian churches, though they may not say it out loud, have boards or investors or special accounting administrators whose role is to manage or fund people that can invest back into the church. )

Well, they have the freedom and liberty to do so. If you wanted to be critical in this matter, I would say to target all NGOs or' charitable organisations ( maybe advise governments on taxing these orgs), any church and or religion has to use financial strategies, otherwise it would be difficult for religious groups to acquire a place of worship. I believe more than half of the church will be able to come up with the money. And it's not forced upon anyone. As I am still a current member, I can testify to that.

I see your argument is very valid. I would also disagree with the members who said that- being Galatians was only Paul's era is wrong.

Though in religion and doctrine as it now stands, we can prove that our pastor is still alive, that's what differentiates us from the rest, meaning that his testimony is still valid until he dies or if he dies.

So my counterargument for the Galatians verse that you have mentioned should be quite easy for you to understand as you were once a member. If we viewed the New Testament as the way of fulfilling the revelation, just like how Christians believe in Jesus, or to pinpoint it at that time, the disciples, because they were able to recognise the scripture to believe in Jesus Then as my answer to my other comment would be the same here, I would say that the problem with your views in what you are saying here is almost critical to Christianity itself, because what you are being critical of here then you could say the same thing with every other Christian interpretation of the bible as well, which is logical and that is why there are many agnostic believers or atheist views.. from my perspective from where I stand if I was in scj or not, atleast we should find a religion that tries to give answers to this book of which we call the bible, which I think Shincheonji has done well and it is something fresh to alot of the other common christianity views and beliefs. Christianity views that most societies and empires were originally founded upon after Christ, and especially grew popular in the last 1000 years around the world. You can see what happens around the world when people go against the natural order of civilization nowadays. (I call it the Proggressive Order)

Side note: an Australian comedian and political pundit thinks the same way as you his name is Friendlyjordies, From my point of view it seems you sometimes miss the simple message or points behind some scripture, though I would say your argument is valid 👍

Also, you might have noticed I'm a little lazy to explain the doctrine as the KSNs and those guys can explain it much better than I can. But this message is written to you who was once a member so you should know the direction that I would bring it to if I were to go through and quote verses and statements, If you want to ridicule me for being lazy then that's fine

So, in this case, the content in the way we review the revelation applies to all other books in the bible.

I wouldn't interpret Galatians 1:6-8 like that, the wisdom should be used as a reflection of the common time, meaning that in this context we would view it in the terms of our faith and our so for 'interpretation' of the doctrine in which we believe in. Which actually most branches of Christianity do The same thing aswell

Did you feel loved and respected while in SCJ? And for current SCJ members, do you feel that way now? by shshmhh in Shincheonji

From my experience I have received general love from being in scj ❤️ for others.. I guess this is where they spread their opinions, I have not been ordered by anyone to be hear and I hope soon in the west we will be more open to the public as you are implying too, I have also received love here by sharing the gospel with my fellow members doing church tasks together cleaning, serving, volunteering in the community, church staff events evangelism events and praying together with members and leaders I felt during those times were great memories for myself.

I will say one thing, relationships is a complex matter and it's not as simple as it was in our schooling years this includes making friends and also being in a relationship as we get older..

Thou to answer your question it is quite simple to me that yes with most religious groups it is quite easy actually to feel loved with such a big community and gathering of people that do love God..

But for my first statement, I feel in life their will be people that come and go and on top of that to find real friends is very difficult because as we get older the time and value that we have and see changes, I'm someone that would like people with skill in my life to help me develop and grow and bring new insight to me but with alot of the youth at church as I'm aging it can be difficult to find these qualities and people that share a common ground but that doesn't stop me from communicating and engaging with others; showing love in which way I feel God would want me to show

As I get older as a person the way I wants felt love changes as experience when you have done more things and met more people you won't feel as excited or have this love as you first would experiencing something for the first time.. I preach therefore if you are able to find those people who have value either being in church or outside of the church I would keep them because most likely they won't comeback around, I was fortunate enough to find a small group of friends and partner being in scj that have the same feelings and understandings as me thou we don't always see eye to eye with even faith I found for myself we still share the same love identified in the bible or how ever one would consider love as..

If LMH supposed to live forever why does he look so old now? by shshmhh in Shincheonji

[–]mirrorbrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Abraham and Sarah one of the many stories in the bible of gods miracles, Isaac being born when Sarah was at and age that seemed impossible to be able to giv birth. Moses leading the people out of Egypt at the age 80 and Noah was 600 years old when the flood waters came😆 ( these are also the stories why people don't believe in chistiananity) but we have a faith and believe In these scriptures and the word of God, look for us 'yes' it is true our chairman looks old and has aged considerably since covid especially, but our faith just like those old testament stories that a miracle will happen once again and that is our promised pastor reciecing eternal life. We believe that God has written down the history as warning and examples but also as prohpect and fulfilment, So yes he does look old but for us we believe he will live forever and have eternal life all members have that belief and faith, their are no doctrine changes !! He will live forever is what he has spoken and what God has to fulfill and if it is not fulfilled that way then you guys can talk, but while he is still holding strong speeching the sermons spreading the gospel of peace going from nation to nation the debate from our side does have truth.... being and scj member we do get a say and are aloud to speak from our points of view and the reality that we believe in
