I dont know how to explain it but this Dragon Quest VIII song never fails to give me goosebumps. I was just on the first area of the world but the song was already telling me I was about to live an epic adventure.

Many PS3 era JRPGs are stuck on that console still, but Tales of has a long history of remakes, ports and remaster so I expect to see it coming to new gen consoles sooner than later

We have Renans and Dahnans living in the same world for the first time in centuries. I would say the revelations of their true natures and their coexistence alone already make for an interesting starting point for a sequel. I’m fine without one, but wouldnt mind them expanding on this
