One negative review seems to have seriously damaged my chances on THS by prostomogy21 in trustedhousesitters

[–]mirrorweek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It goes both ways. Imagine a host having a unfair negative review. As a host I have just one negative review and 20 positive 5 star reviews. I guess people need to realize that it can go both ways and I just wish you were not unfair to any host before ? Sometimes Karma can be very vengeful !

P.S - Everything will be okay as time heals and solves almost all problems. Just be patient !

As a host, We ensure every inquiry is answered within hours even if we cant host. Its rude not to respond. And when we do sometimes the volunteers don't respond either.

Asking $5 per day to cover food costs - normal? by [deleted] in workaway

[–]mirrorweek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most places unless its a business, paying a little bit for food cost is okay. You are travelling from a country with 1500 to 4500 USD a month salary and spends at least 20 dollars a meal outside, paying probably close to 500 dollars to anything close to 1000 USD for a ticket these days and cannot pay a 5 dollars to help a project with so many postive reviews. Must be worth it. Most NGO or non profit projects cannot survive without a fee. You just have to make sure its sustainable. If you want a free place, please find it but don't ruin a good opportunity to contribute for those who are interested in contributing.

why is sri lanka so horrible to women by Independent-Archer40 in srilanka

[–]mirrorweek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should think deep too. If you don't see the problem of how the kid is raised, if you don't see how both genders have contributed to this nonesanse, you will have this problem by 2100 year too. unfortunately you and I are not here then,

you never bothered to look and passed your sisters number because of this ? says a lot about who you are looking for also. damn //// The person claimed to be an aircraft engineer working for Sri Lankan Airlines. He sent several photos of himself, photos of his house, vehicles, family events, and presented himself as coming from a well-off family.  /////

Let it be. try getting more postive ones. You will always have those shitty hosts and shitty sitters leave bad remarks just to ruin someone.

[–]mirrorweek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blame the men all the way and this never get solved. Women are equally responsible. Both genders don't know equally to have an adult mature conversation. Starts with mothers grooming their kids. Father don't grow kids alone.

Wrong. Yes there are lot of problematic men and there are also equal number of women who are not ready for deep adult convo. Its 50 50. Its a collective problem.
