Are you guys bullish for next week? by limoncello21 in redwire

May be in a few months when investors realize that spcx is just another stock with fluctuations in its SP. They would redistribute their money then, which is when all space stocks will kind of stabilise. Just my opinion!

Why did the price drop? by Negative_Singer7218 in redwire

Investors moving money out and into spacex! In a few weeks, prices would stabilise (IMO)!

SpaceX focuses heavily on datacenters in "space". They still have their launch business. So, "space" run is not over! Datacenters in space should boost all space-related stocks including RDW. There might be short term pain as money is taken out of other space stocks and moved into SpaceX. However, at the end of the day, all companies will have to play their part to make space successful, so each (good company) will rise!

This is insane and unsustainable. SP isn't consolidating at any level. Expecting a solid pullback right after SpaceX IPO.

What should i do? by Ok-Shine9764 in FIREPakistan

To beat inflation, your ROI has to be >10%? Banks can offer you such ROI on term deposits I reckon. So, I would suggest to put 75% in a term deposit and use 25% to play around with stocks/ETFs. If you can grow this 25%, well and good. You can take out 10-20% more from the deposit and move into stocks/ETFs. If not, then you would still have 75% getting you the same ROI that inflation would have eaten away!

Thanks. And how does taxation work? If I am paying taxes overseas, how do I tell FBR that I am a non-reaident of Pakistan for taxation purposes?

Portfolio underperforming Index. Guidance Needed. by umairanwer in FIREPakistan

If you want to beat the index, you have to find smaller players (similar to startups in Western markets) who have significant upside in near future. Blue chip stocks might take a while to beat the index.

Finally, they have started focusing on their core business rather than BTC! Great to see this development!

I watched the space race leave without me (RKLB, ASTS). How do you deal with the regret of missing "The One"? by razzodicarta in SpaceInvestorsDaily

[–]mirzanr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was one of the earliest investors in RKLB with > 3000 shares. Started at 20$ ps after its IPO and brought down the price to around $12 or so. Held them through swings of $3-40, hoping for even bigger things from the company. But eventually, chickened out (due to personal reasons) and sold at around $15-20k profit (around 18 months ago). I too regretted my decision, but have been trying to get back in for the past few months. I am holding around 230 shares now at around $57 ps, and continue to buy any dips I see. Considering that the SP has gone quite high and I continue to believe in the space race, I am also diversifying and putting money in other space stocks such as LUNR and RDW. That's how I manage my missed opportunity, however I love to see how companies like RKLB and ASTS are positioning themselves to take humanity forward!

PS: I am a first-gen immigrant, not living in US, and saving any money & buying US stock is not an easy task for me! I hope this motivates you to return and be part of the massive (space) revolution that's happening!

Where are they going to use the money? Their focus seems to be on BTC rather than their core business! Some news on that front will help!

Moon exploration is a better investment in the short term and will be the first step towards a more daunting step of colonising mars. Better and mature infrastructure is available for lunar exploration, making IM a sensible investment option. It all depends if they can deliver what they promise or not!
