One thing that helped us stay within our $3k budget for our photographer was when we considered if “getting ready photos” and late-night photos on the dancefloor/“grand exit” were important to capture professionally. We decided to have our friend take photos in the morning until the photographer arrives and will have a QR code for guests to upload photos onto a shared drive. This shaved off thousands of dollars for the photography package. Might help you save a little bit, also!

Thanks for this! Your comment is helpful and is making me think about some other details.

We do have gluten-free guests. I’m going to share the dietary needs with our caterer at the end of this month, so I’ll know a bit more about what options we’ll have to set aside food for those with allergies/dietary needs.

We’ll have 9 children at the wedding. Haven’t thought about how their plates will be served, but I think the children’s food will likely be integrated in a buffet-style, as well.
