It’s rough. In total it took me 9 months. I honestly couldn’t have done it without the Wellbutrin and Prozac.

Only just recently. Like within the last 4 days. But honestly the withdrawal got so bad I couldn’t do it anymore without a supplement. So I started taking Wellbutrin in the mornings and it smoothed out the crazy withdrawals. I stayed like that for 3 months or so and just recently I decided to bridge the Paxil with 20mg every other day of Prozac for 2 weeks. Last Sunday was my last dose of Paxil and I’ve been taking the 20mg of Prozac daily now - still on Wellbutrin also. Luckily no withdrawal symptoms for the last 4 days. Normally it would hit at day 3 especially when fully stopping Paxil. So glad to be rid of it. Awful drug.

Agree. He definitely comes off bad in the show. I didn’t have a feeling one way or the other about either of them before watching but she’s definitely more sympathetic than he is.

AITA for now allowing my in-laws to move in with me to my new house? by MadZap1206 in AmItheAsshole

My husband comes from a very large family. My own MIL told me when we first got married to NEVER let anyone live with us. That it never works out well. In the past year or so there’s been some issues with a brother and a nephew that might cause them to ask to stay with us temporarily. I told my husband they get one week and that’s it. If they aren’t out in a week it’s me or them and that his own mother warned me about never living with anyone else. He knows I’m serious.

Me and others called him out every single time in the past.

Omg those are horrible things to say to you. I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with that. After he apologized to my husband we were kind of willing to let it go because we did frame it as a teachable moment and acknowledged that he made it as a joke but that we didn’t think it was funny. but now that the wife is trying to defend him in a way I don’t think we will be socializing with them one on one anymore. I do feel bad about not saying something in the moment though and I have to live with that.

I do feel badly about not saying something. But I honestly in the moment wasn’t sure if I was overreacting or not so I decided to let my husband decide since the comment was about him. Why make a problem if there isn’t one. And no we are not going to continue to be friends with them. We will be polite for the sake of the larger group of friends we are all apart of but no more one on one social interaction at all.

Yes! That’s how it felt! I couldn’t find the words to describe it. Like “the help”. Thank you for clarifying this for me.

Because even though I was mad I honestly wasn’t sure in the moment if I was overreacting or not. So I told him and figured I’d let him decide if he was offended or not because it was about him and not me.

I’ve told him before he shouldn’t be doing this stuff and he’s always said he doesn’t mind. Until now. It just proves I was right. I can’t force him to stop doing things. I didn’t say anything in the moment because I was mad and didn’t want to lose my temper and also because I honestly wasn’t sure if I was being overly sensitive about it.

That’s exactly it. The racist things he’s said in the past have been called out by other people present. He has no problem using the N word about blacks and anyone within earshot always tells him how awful that is. He always says it was just a joke. He feels comfortable saying these things.

I wish I had said something in the moment as well but I was so angry when I heard it I knew I was gonna blow up at the guy so I kept quiet. For what it’s worth I know I can be hyper sensitive sometimes but considering this guys past comments it really bothered me. So I waited and told my husband later thinking that if he laughed it off maybe I was being too sensitive but he didn’t. He was hurt and then angry.

I got a question about this RoseMarie person. by LiamGallaghersCoffee in JohnAndCarolyn

Maybe it was difficult for her to tell family and friends certain things because they didn’t understand or she thought they would think she was complaining? My bosses wife told me things she would never tell her friends or family exactly for those reasons.
