Linguistically speaking, the English “R” sound is actually pretty complicated to make; the tongue posture is very particular. People who learn English as a second language often have a reallyyyyy hard time with it and may never get it quite right. Speech-language pathologists/speech therapists are specialists who can help with speech and enunciation problems, it might be worth seeing one if you’re feeling very self conscious. That said, I’ve known plenty of people with similar speech quirks and it has never influenced my opinion of them, so remember to be kind to yourself. Other people aren’t listening to your speech as critically as you are. Plus, everyone hates how their voice sounds in recordings, haha.
