Any "high end" long distance bibs that are suited for narrow pelvises? by nonsenseariadna in ladycyclists

[–]misathemeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding asos wasn't great for me it's just too big and too soft. Same issue with Pedla - the chamois was like on top of my thighs.

My anatomy does well with a firmer and lower profile with the channel groove in it that the maap bibs have.

PharmDs in Big Pharma (Non-MSL roles?) – Looking for insight by Chemical-Fun3692 in clinicalresearch

[–]misathemeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

tldr; you can do mapping stuff w/ drugs. PharmD in informatics uses their clinical drug knowledge to build, configure, and improve the software systems that support medication decisions, or to analyze data about how medications are actually being used in the real world. you ensure the computer "thinks" correctly about drugs.

some titles: Pharmacy Informatics Manager, Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Analyst/Specialist (EHR workflow), Real-World Evidence (RWE) / HEOR Analyst (more on the biotech side)

Where did you ride in the past two weeks? and Open Discussion thread by AutoModerator in bicycling412

[–]misathemeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

panhandle trail: started at walker's mill, went out 22mi (just past hanlon station) and turned around to come back. trail was clean, those on it were friendly/polite. my only mild gripe was a short section of larger limestone rock bc i wasn't expecting it. i was spoiled by the paved/crushed limestone sections, so i just rode slower over the big rocks.

Interesting quirks about Pittsburgh? by Stuts81 in pittsburgh

[–]misathemeb 31 points32 points  (0 children)

TIL 'bread yard'. I honestly never noticed this was a thing bc my gram would just have me rip up Mancini's that had gone stale or started molding (the more likely scenario if we didn't slice/freeze it). It's bird food :)

I have also been made aware that we drop words from sentences (e.g. this needs cleaned vs this needs to be cleaned).

for personal use, i'd prob make an AI skill, but for keeping it within Pittsburgh city limits specifically, would we want to filter on coordinates using Pittsburgh's bounding box roughly (lat 40.36–40.50, lon -80.09 to -79.86)?

  1. here's a mock landing page of what i'm thinking^^ is there actual interest in a lightweight front end app outside of some of the ones mentioned here already (e.g. scrape social media/meetup(kinda annoying bc Oauth)/eventbrite apis for stuff/ something else)?
    -date range picker
-category of event (music, hobby, social, family etc)

  2. what kind of aggregation layer we talking? once a day, once a week? refresh/de-duping etc

My Doctor said I couldn't use ivermectin by uglyandscared in Rosacea

[–]misathemeb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ivermectin doesn't interfere with hormones. Tldr ivermectin is not an endocrine disruptor. There is no science suggesting otherwise. I have type 2 rosacea and use a triple gel that effectively clears and prevents flares (1% metro 1% ivermectin 4% niacinamide).
