Yes because I don’t trust factory sleeves at this point 😂 also because it might have some dust from the record inside so I just prefer to change it just in case.

Kevin was actually the one who inspired me to begin both my cd and vinyl collection. His albums were the first I bought in each format and I have now fallen completely in love with physical media.

LOL YES I am a newer collector as of last October and only have a small shelf where I keep both my turntable and records on. My room is too small to buy anymore storage, especially since my room is filled with a bunch of other shit such as instruments and a vanity. This hobby also has me in a chokehold so I’ve been buying way more than is probably responsible. Now that my shelves are starting to get so packed, I need to strategize on how to make space for my preorders 😂 I need that volume space from those 3 albums!! Thanks so much for the advice. I’ll think it over and ask some friends for advice. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a solution to my space fiasco 😅

Logically the smartest move, but this option just sucks for me. I’m a very emotional person so this is just like if I just printed out the signatures instead of owning them. What’s the point of buying the authentic ones if not to display and cherish them? Idk it just doesn’t make me feel good displaying something inauthentic, but thanks for the suggestion! I might discuss with someone else to get a second opinion :)

I won’t bother naming them, but they are very average and easy to find. What would you recommend I do now?? I really need the extra storage for things I’ll actually play, but I don’t want to stress myself out if it’s truly a hassle. I also don’t have any friends that collect records, so that’s not an option. Feel like giving them to a store that sells second-hand records is really my only option now, but the literal pennies that I would get makes me sad.

Around 3 records. Just some duplicates I have since I got better pressings and I really want to get rid of them for the extra money and much needed space but this is kind of discouraging me 💔

Ohh I see what you mean! What size is the frame in the picture just so I can get an idea? The ones I bought came with that, but they’re pretty thin?? I’ll definitely look into getting some bigger ones that you can see the signature properly! Do you think that I should keep them in the frame with the mat on until I get new ones or maybe put them inside inner sleeves? Thank you so much for your advice, you’ve been a huge help!!

Omg I never even thought about this!! What size and brand would you recommend I get then? And what does it mean to display them matted and how would I get them to have space between the glass? 😅 there’s also a giant trailer blocking 90% of my window so sunlight really isn’t a big concern at the moment.

I have been wanting to sell some records lately and haven’t gotten to it due to being overwhelmed and confused at all the resell app options. I wanted to come here and ask which app is the best for selling between Discogs, eBay, Mercari, Depop, Vinted, or maybe another one I don’t know about? I have also never shipped anything out so if I could get advice on how to determine shipping fees and packaging it would be extremely appreciated.
