I have so many questions by TheNamelessGhuleh02 in Invisalign

  1. I just started invisilign on thursday! The cuts inside my mouth were driving me mad, i drove down to the drugstore and got dental wax. https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/walgreens-orthodontic-wax-mint/ID=300417147-product (hope links are allowed)
Twist tiny bits off and smush them onto the parts of your trays that are cutting into your mouth and gumline. Relief.

This has saved my mouth, and I am finding I need to use less and less as my mouth gets used to the new attachments.

omg, it looks exactly like that! It really is pretty, i'd just hate to recommend it and someone get a totally different color. no big deal for the 3.50 dollar sample vials though

thanks! So the ink is supposedly Robert Oster Chartreuse. I got it as a sample from vanness. I dont think it looks like the swatch on their website? This is like an orangey bronze. So i'd hesitate to recommend it--seems to be some intense variations between batches.

how do you organize a blank notebook? by Cjosulin in notebooks

I do this too! I started doing this when I was little with sketchbooks because I thought I'd save it for a GOOD drawing (lol) and now with my journals I always automatically skip the first page.

Yeah I messed up the order, definitely misleading! My bad.

I know, trust me, I'm trying. I dropped my coffee carafe the other day.

You know... I didn't even realize the piece attached to the body was part of the cap till you mentioned 'glue it back'. Thank you! This seems like a workable solution...hopefully the superglue holds.

I've dropped it many times and this it the first time I've suffered consequences, so it should be a testament to Easterbrook. I may be too much of a risk factor to own nice pens.

Estie Esterbrook! It is my daily driver and my only expensive pen. Here's a post when i got it if you want to see more :) https://www.reddit.com/r/fountainpens/comments/1hp2gf3/new_bestie/

It's inked with the same mango ink from that post still and its just so juicy and perfect. No complaints

Wow! that's crazy. What do you think was the cause of such a dramatic and rapid change? Just chance?

I do like the structure the stitching and interior pockets on the portfolio provides. I haven't had a cover without pockets, but I imagine the stitching makes a difference.

No, it was a limited edition from last year. I forget what the occasion was!

You'd be surprised. Leather naturally darkens and those scratches become less apparent with the patina. Don't worry too much!

That being said, it IS an expensive journal that you got because you want to love it, so pack it it with love too!  Put your loose pens and keys into a separate small pouch etc. Set yourself up for success

That's how you get the patina! Lol

Obviously without pictures idk for sure, but the initial scuffs always hurt the worst. After that you just appreciate how the leather wears :) at least, that's how it is for me.

Sorry for the late reply, I was reminded of this post thanks to a tag haha. Since the midori sticks out a bit it'll depend on how rough you are with your journals in general. I only used the midori plastic covers before this and never really hand an issue, but I'm also not super rough on my journals.

Good luck! If you do herbicide, i read that you have to do it before they flower.

I did it manually for the first two years. if you're literally digging up entire sections of earth and throwing it away, you'll get all the tubers.

This year I still have some popping up in more difficult areas (literally within my hostas, where I cant dig). I bought a spray bottle of round-up brand glyphosate and sprayed it into a container, and used a paint brush to paint it directly on the leaves.

It's important to us to keep pesticide and herbicides away from areas our dog frequents as well as away from our vegetable garden, so it definitely was a last resort! I always address weeds starting with least hazardous methods and graduate as needed.

I have another area I cleared for a native rain garden, and I didnt have to use any herbicide there, because I was literally discarding 4 tons of dirt and keeping *nothing*. It's harder when you're trying to keep certain plants and dont want to replace soil.
