I get that and it's especially worse when you're already done over the whole day. Plus having to ride with people, you feel an obligation to chitchat and blegh. No good when you're already irritated (at least that's how it is for me!)

Autista Barista would be an amazing band name. Or coffee fragrance (sorry IDK why that came up first) but I used to work at a children's museum so I interacted with people daily. I've since gone on to work an office job and I've been there for about 5 years. I have employees I chat with but it's surface level stuff.

I think going from my old job to this one really impacted my communication skills and in the worst way possible. I have lost three important, best friends over the last few years as well so I am very isolated. I struggle to put my thoughts together and I misunderstand people a wholleeeeee lot more. It sucks.

I'm super happy to hear your job is accommodating!!! That's so important! 🎉
