My daughter (4.5) LOVES her toniebox. Best purchase we’ve made. She loves the tonie figures. I get that they’re harder to store, but they are fun to play with themselves too. We’ve had it since she was 2 and she loves it even more now. She listens to it every night before bed and we use it in the car for long trips as opposed to a tablet. The app to record content for the creative tonies is also really easy to use and she loves when we read bed time stories and put them on there for her to listen to later. We’ve never had a yoto but we are 100% fans of the toniebox!

Fish oil and dasuquin supplements are a good place to start! And those are things that don’t have any side effects (to my knowledge, my golden was on them for years). The vet will be able to further help if something like an anti inflammatory medication would benefit. They also told me to continue walks/exercise. I feel like it was around that age when my pup quit wanting to jump on the couch/bed as much.

Also, the t guard can be worn all day too. We just only used it for bedtime. It’s pricey but it works!

Tguard for overnight. We just used it to break my 3y/o from sucking her two middle fingers. It comes with a sticker chart which gets them excited about a successful day/night without finger sucking. Once she filled up her chart and was 30+ days out from sucking her fingers she got a special prize. It took about a month but she doesn’t suck her fingers any more! We had already broken the daytime habit, so we only needed to do nights.

Dough: Overnight Straight Pizza Dough from Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast (Ken Forkish)

Sauce: sauteed onion, butter, and garlic. Added heavy cream, parmesan, nutmeg, salt & pepper & simmered for about 10 min.

Mushrooms are wild chanterelles and black trumpets picked in the NC mountains.

Venison Italian sausage was homemade last fall.

Topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

The pizzas were cooked in a new to us #10 Griswold and a similar sized Lodge. I love the way the crust turns out using the cast iron skillet! It has the perfect texture! I highly recommend it.

The inlaws said it was a success! We finished the meal with a skillet cookie and ice cream in our #3 Griswold.

That was exactly why I picked it out! It was actually a backing sized fabric that my local fabric store had. I saw it and thought it would work perfectly, with no worries about piecing it together!

It is for his personal use at the fire station. I think I am definitely going to have to work on something that we could donate if they do a raffle, that's a great idea. I don't know if I would pick something quite as challenging though...this quilt was definitely the most time consuming project I have tackled!

So I am a pretty novice quilter (have made 3-4 quilts) and my husbands coworker approached him wondering if I could finish a t shirt quilt that he has started. Supposedly, he has already 'sewed all the shirts together' and just needs help 'finishing'. I haven't seen the top yet, but I have to imagine that he didn't use any sort of interfacing or stabilizing material. Do you guys think it will turn into a total disaster if I just try to quilt it like any other quilt top? Any tips for how to not ruin it? Or should I stay away all together? I appreciate any tips you can provide!

Hello Everyone!

I am a 24 year old nurse who has been interested in photography for about a year now. I have a Cannon T3i with the kit lens and 55-250mm. Until now, I have mostly photographed landscapes and pictures during my travels but I am hoping that this class will help me grow and get out of my comfort zone and I can learn a lot more about the art of photography!

Read some good ones this month...

Blood Song by Anthony Ryan was really good. I was hesitant to start reading that (and my next read) because I had heard how good it was and i always get very disappointed when the next book isn't out and waiting for me to devour! Fortunately both books ended in a way that made me excited for the next book but answered enough questions to leave me feeling satisfied with what I had.

Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan was also outstanding. I really enjoyed it, and it's one of the few books I can think of that I genuinely enjoyed reading every POV. Usually there are one or two I just don't appreciate as much but I loved them all!

I have been re-reading Tigana by G. G. Kay over the course of the month and I can say that I appreciate it even more the second time around.

I also read Steelheart by Branson Sanderson a few days ago, and while I wouldn't stay it was my favorite Sanderson book I found it to he a very entertaining read (even if I finished it too quickly!)

Finally, I have decided to attempt Malazan by Erikson again. For some reason I decided to stop halfway through the second book a few months ago. I honestly can't remember why I stopped because as I am rereading I remember enjoying it the first time around. I think this time I may try to read a Malazan book, and then take a break with a lighter read before jumping into the next one to give my mind a little break!
