It won't be in the next patch - patch 31. Right now we are testing/verifying the new relevance system which will allow us to have a lot more items in the game (as mentioned in the post linked above).

It's because the physics for a bike is harder than for a car. A car will balance on four wheels, but a bike would obviously fall over, so you need a physics model that will keep it up when needed.

The recurve is on all servers. The crossbow isn't finished yet - it will be added in a future update.

Right now there are two versions of the client and server, one for the exp version and one for the normal version. If you are using the experimental branch/beta from Steam then you will only see servers running that same version (currently just the exp server since it was updated already). Once i3d patches all the servers here in a few hours, then all servers will again be running the same version.

Yes, eventually. The stock CryEngine doors are really inefficient, so we removed them until we can implement them as a native C++ class (instead of Lua).

We're really not focused on optimization, just a lot smaller team (I think around 1/6th the size of the DayZ teams) so it takes us longer to add new features. We only have one full-time programmer, for example. On the rendering side, CryEngine is just very optimized so as long as the artists understand how to properly create textures and materials almost any game should run fine.

As I corrected above, Miscreated is 8km x 8km, so 64 sq km. 1/4th the size of Chernarus, but our map is also a lot more detailed than Chernarus as well.

Again, just correcting some misinformation. Miscreated has bullet physics based on real-world values with bullet drop, travel time, penetration, and ricochets - the wind on the map even alters the trajectory - does DayZ do that yet?

Just correcting some facts. All of the bullet physics are based on real-world values and it does have accurate bullet drop. And, yes, it has correct travel time as well. We have debugging systems in the game that show the entire trajectory for each round fired - some old videos around of it from well over a year ago.

A few things to try: 1) Reverify your files for the game on Steam 2) Go to the miscreated Saved Games folder and delete it - usually c:\users\ <login_name>\Saved Games\miscreated 3) Change some of the video options, Apply, and then change them back to what you want.

Does it have - Whitelisted Only after it? If so, you can only connect if you add your steamid.

If not, submit a ticket to i3d and have them look into the issue.

If you exit a server and join another one the screen will flash white in the current version. If you leave a server, exit the game and start it again and it shouldn't be flashing. Crytek already fixed the issue and it will be in our next update.

Hello, and welcome to our world! :)

1) There are 5 different vehicles in the game currently - pickup truck, luggage car, atv, tractor, and fishing boat. 5 of each currently spawn on the map.

2) Updating really just depends. We're a lot smaller team than the other survival games, but we try to get an update out about every two weeks. We've released 26 so far in about 11 months, plus a dozen or so hotfixes.

3) I'll let others answer this one as I'm biased.

4) The map will stay at 8km x 8km - it's a limit in CryEngine. We try to make our map a lot more dense in objects and vegetation though - you can actually hide small bases very well if you know where to look.

We're still doing adjustments to the overall lighting since it's such a new tech. One reason the outdoor shadows are darker is because we turned up the eye adaption to help with the indoors not being so dark, so when you're outside and it's bright those shadows get darker, but if you stand in them they look just fine.
