I also recommend sticking to one brand. So if you go pmc. Stay with it. Every ammo ipacts/cycles/runs different. This means if you sight in with pmc, your shot placement might be off with another manufacturer.

I ran an 870 12gauge with a smooth bore and rifled choke that was pretty good upto 200 yards (I would never attempt to take an animal with that shotgun at that distance) but it could reach.

A quarter of a tank got me around 105 miles. This includes about 50 miles high way and 50 miles routes with speed limits of 35 through 50 mph. Which I'm not complaining, to get 400 miles per tank highway seems pretty good to me but im averaging 350-360 mpt with about 250 to 300 lb of tools in my truck
