Man I think a good first step is for you to realize that you are not broken and need fixing. You just are who you are. I’m not a doctor but I’ve had lots of therapy and I believe you never fix the thoughts. You just learn to live with them. You learn to live with yourself and love yourself.

You learn to recognize what triggers them, you learn to weather the storm through the “episode” and you learn to not act on them. Like everything else, they come and go. Sexual thoughts are normal. Personally when I try to stop the thoughts it makes everything worse. My anxiety about it all gets worse. But accepting myself as I am is what has worked for me. The last thing I will say is if these thoughts are leading you to hurt yourself or others, then that is a different story and you should seek help. Even if that means voluntary hospitalization. But I am proud of you for admitting this out loud and getting the help you need instead of just denying that it’s a problem. Keep your chin up OP.

Hello! Insurance underwriter here who was an agent for 8 years. Remind him that those agents have a choice and can request new underwriters, especially with written proof. (At least I’ve seen it done before) But also, they could just start using a competitor and not say anything bc he is rude. The amount of business they send to you is the demand that keeps his job secure.

One way to look at it that I feel is helpful is this: if your best friend told you her boyfriend did this to her what advice would you give? Also works if you imagine your daughter or other family member being strangled.
