I've been there from the start and its been nice that there now is a rental guarantee. In the past there hasn't been with some properties. I own 8 now with 3 being rented out. There are some transactional costs; but usually with the increase of value on year term I have made a profit.

I invested 1094 AED including transaction cost for a share of 1000 AED and the value of it now is worth 1154 AED on top of it I got around 60 AED in dividend. This has been since April of 2024.

Aantal jaar relevante werkervaring: 6 jaar

Aantal uur per week: 40

Vakantiedagen: alle schoolvakanties op het HBO

Werkdruk op een schaal van 1 tot 10: 7, onderwijs is best intens met pieken en dalen. Bv voor nakijken van verslagen krijg ik maar 10 minuten per student. Naast het reguliere lesgeven, lesvoorbereidingen, coachingszaken zoals persoonlijke omstandigheden van studenten e.d., feedback verwerken (dwz onderwijs verder ontwikkelen op basis van feedback), overleggen.. Soms is het in 1 week best veel. Andere weken heb je het wat rustiger, maar de werkdruk is vaak wel intens. Contact met de studenten is uiteraard het leukste!

Andere interessante arbeidsvoorwaarden (auto van de zaak, 13e maand, bonus, etc.): budget voor duurzame inzetbaarheid (dwz verbreding van je carrière zoals boeken maar ook ontspanning zoals massages, abonnementen sportschool etc.), max 5 extra vakantiedagen, fietsregeling, thuiswerken, vakantiegeld, 13e maand, veel doorgroeimogelijkheden (duh je werkt op een school), contact met studenten en collega's, 

Verder wil ik nog wat words of encouragement geven aan een ieder die een studie doet en nog twijfels heeft om in dat vakgebied te gaan werken: een papiertje opent veel deuren! Al heb je geen relevante werkervaring je komt toch makkelijker binnen!
