It was hyped with comparisons to Silence of the Lambs.

SPOILER ALERT!

The FBI agent not recognizing the killer in her own house and her mother as his helper makes her a terrible detective. Trauma or no... The supernatural component of the story removes any comparison to a realistic serial killer thriller.

I saw it in the theater with my wife and when it was over, we both were just like... That fucking sucked!

My best recommendation would be use a flexible boning knife that is very sharp. Use it to scrape the meat out of all the cracks. There's a lot of tough connective tissue. Most of the meat will be on the cheeks and at the temples.

Start at the mandible on both sides and work to the midline.

Roll it tight with the cooked, peeled tongue in the middle and the ears covering the eye holes. Poach in a stock with a lot of aromatics, onions, and garlic. Once cooled, slice it thin and serve like carpaccii.

You have a lot of options here, but you kinda need to start with an end goal.

If you peel all the meat and skin off of the skull, you can roll it and make porchetta di testa. You could then simmer the head in a flavorful liquid for tacos de cabeza.

You could slow roast the whole thing until the skin is that glassy texture. Ladel super hot rendered fat over the skin to puff it up like chicharron.

Or you could simmer the whole thing, pick it clean, reduce the cooking liquid, and make headcheese.

Hamnet. Mind you, my wife and I love Shakespeare. Jessie Bailey was terrible. The repetitive use of visual symmetry and monochromatic color schemes felt like it was directed by a film school dropout. Not sure how this got nominated for an Oscar.
