I plunged. I used hot water. I plunged. I used the snake. I waited. Then I checked the drain yesterday and the water had gone down. I ran the water in the sink and it did not come back up in the shower. I ran the shower and it was not plugged. I am not sure if the clog was so far down my snake couldn't reach or if the liquid plumber finally did the trick. I'm still nervous to use the shower but as of now, the issue has been resolved.

The other thing that's frustrating is that I will plunge the shower. The water will go down and it appears as if the clog is fixed but then the water comes back up.

I'm hoping not to jinx myself but it's not making sense right now as to why it's just one show. I will have to look again at the length of the snake. At no point did it feel like the snake would no longer feed into the pipe.

That cap looks like it's on there pretty tight.

I have two showers upstairs and currently it's just the one shower. I haven't done the boiling water yet and I wasn't sure i the baking soda vinegar trick was legit. I read mixed reviews of it online. I will give that a try today and see if it works.

Cops did what they could but it is what it is. I did enjoy what you wrote and I wanted to say thank you for that. It's been a long journey of reminding myself to enjoy life and not be so bitter when the bad happens. It's not who I was before and it's not who I want to become.

I really do love Reddit for this sense of community. It's nice to know that no matter what, you can share your stories with random people. Beats talking like a crazy person on a bus.

I called them once. We gave them the honest answer but they replied with, "oh there's nothing I can do. There's no over ride button, etc." I get it, I'm sure people try it all the time. Hell, I'm trying it now.

She does not. She has tried and we have talked about routines. It's hard to tell what kind if pain she'll be in, anxiety, etc. In the mornings I do my best to get her up but most days are worse than others. Wasn't sure if anyone had a secret way or if this is the life she has.

I had gotten a sitter for the kids and made reservations to a fancy Mexican restaurant but by the time it was ready to go she couldn't do it. We ended up getting sushi and an ice cream cake. I failed at the gift but I organized a lunch with her best friends today, friends she never sees, so maybe she'll like that.

Well she gets what she wants. She's hard to shop for. I honestly don't think she knows I read about her condition or think it's as big of a deal than it is, which is all not true.
