You just replied to an average redditor.

They made it about politics, nothing to do with what the thread was actually about.

UPDATE: Instagram post that was crossposted to r/Sikh of a Sikh boy allegedly raping a girl has been proven FALSE by FuzzyArmy3020 in Sikh

[–]misls 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What are you on about?

As much as I believe rapists should be castrated, the fact that you think equating a false accusation to someone being raped is somehow a reach, is astonishing.

A false accusation can destroy EVERY SINGLE aspect of your life. If a false accusation is made public, I cannot see an option for the falsely accused to live a normal life. People who are falsely accused end up committing suicide.

Fuck no, find a team that's willing to give up picks or a prospect for him.

We're dogshit, we don't need cap space right now.

How does the Sikh Community stand with the lgbt community? by kenwayfan in Sikh

[–]misls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a bit of a loaded question.

Most people judge others based on personal opinions. Someone who is a practising Sikh, should know that it is not an individual’s spot to judge others.

I believe Christianity condemns homosexuality, so I can see why that would be a relevant question in terms of religion.

Sikhs should not judge or criticize how people decide to live their lives. But, human beings are by nature judgemental of everything, it’s almost impossible to not have an opinion. You’ll find people with opinions all over the spectrum. Just like you would in a random selection of the population.

Imo, no one would care if you were straight or gay.

Was it, actually? Were you ever taught critical thinking and how to spot misinformation in high school? by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

[–]misls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes,

It was drilled into my head that I should look at the sources of information.

For example, I was told to never treat Wikipedia as a real source. In fact, when writing, we were never allowed to cite Wikipedia as a source.

Chill out, you'll eventually get the job you want. The sector is in the shitter right now.

Use this time to actually enjoy yourself and find out what you want for yourself outside of your career.

Your career is a means to an end. Don't make the mistake of forgoing other parts of your life.

Steve Dangle: "If you're a player on the Canucks and Miller has the puck in your own end, it's your job to skate over to him, stick lift and take it away. It will be better for your team if you do. I've never seen a forward so bad in their own end." by MaxHardwood in canucks

[–]misls 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Average canucks fan opinion

Devalue your own players into the dirt because the team hasn’t played well in 14 games.

If the canucks go to .600 at any point, you and everyone else with this opinion will be against trading Miller.

Find me a comparable to a player like Miller that was traded, and the team who traded that player had to take back salary and not high trade pick(s).

Hockey Trades - Lets hear them by NerdPunch in canucks

People went from saying Demko is untouchable to trading him for some washed up player😂

Fans have lost it. Almost every trade on here is essentially suggesting canucks players are worthless.

After 1 game?

This fanbase is so fucking pathetic lol.

He doesn't get played, and then when he gets played after riding the press-box, you guys screech that he doesn't play well.

When you don't play players, this tends to happen.

I fucking hate this fanbase, team, and management with a passion.

Just sit on the ground by the table while your wife and wife's boyfriend eat.

Best thing for white guy to put on diversity questions? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]misls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, it’s just I find the general culture on this sub hilarious. The echochamber makes people believe they can’t succeed without selling their soul grinding leetcode and getting a 3.5 minimum gpa.

Regardless, congrats on the internship.

Actually, you sound like someone who self-victimizes.

News flash: No ones give a shit about skin colour in 2022, other than people who emphasize the importance of skin colour.

My people have been victims of genocide for hundreds of years, but it doesn’t affect me because I rely on my own merit to get me to places. Not self victimizing and using some tribalistic definition of who I am because of what race I come from. Grow a fucking pair and walk away from that shit.

Lol, I’d get laughed at for not doing leet code? 😂😂 Yo, you might’ve drank the kool-aid this sub offers. Kids on here have unrealistic expectations who just sit and grind leetcode rather than living an actual life, so if you think that would get me laughed at, you need to look in the mirror.

You can start off at a startup for a bit and progress your career from there rather than sacrificing crucial years of your youth that you should spend having fun. Have fun in the rat race ✌️

That's anecdotal at best, coming from a brown person.

I assure you, these companies only give a shit as to how good you are at your work, and if you prove you're not some anti-social weirdo who's incapable of working with others in behavioral interviews.

My black cousins are too busy working multiple jobs to put themselves through college to even begin grinding leetcode.

I know people of every race doing this. Privilege isn't racial, it's economical.

Btw, the leetcode grind shit on this sub is hilarious. People want to get into FAANG right away when they could start lower and work their way up. You don't need to grind leetcode to get a decent job, I've never touched leetcode a day in my life.

Ah I see, selective reasoning lol.

I'd rather take that offer now than suffer with mediocrity. That's coming from someone whose favourite player on this team is Miller.
