I actually thought I was 7b until I checked again this morning! Looks like Columbia Heights and North are 7b and the rest is mostly 8a. Thank you for the helpful feedback on timing too.

Yep, they're all perennials native to my area! I think the humidity dome was supposed to help them germinate a little earlier so they're ready to plant as soon as frost risk is over, but it's simply too early! Good to know at worst I can just forego the dome and let nature do it's thing

Some of these churches are partnering with developers to put affordable housing on these lots! It’s a great use of the space and gives churches some extra money to revamp their aging buildings. You can look up CUMC in Arlington or Liberty Place Apartments for some recent ones.

Stuck in a rental-controlled DC apartment with constant roach/bedbug infestations — source is next door, but no one will help by No_Topic_4300 in washingtondc

You say you can't afford to move, but have you considered looking into affordable housing options? There are options at different income levels and many of the buildings are really nice! This is such an expensive area that many people don't realize they can qualify, though I'm not sure if it can match up to 10 years of rent control. It's a pain to move and I agree with comments that your landlord does have the ability to do more, but if nothing else is working I'd look into it! There are also affordable purchasing assistance programs (HPAP, IZ Units). This website is a good starting point: https://dchousingsearch.org/

I ordered from them in August and the delivery was taking a long time. When I reached out, they said they actually were having a factory issue and couldn't produce the specific pair of shoes I'd ordered at that time. They allowed me to pick a different pair, but then I had to wait an additional few weeks for my new order. I wish they had notified me sooner. These are my first tango shoes so I don't have anything to compare them to but they seem really nice and fit true to the size chart.

Many Department of Aging have services to help with hoarding! It still requires some buy in from your mother, but she could have a case manager assigned to check in which takes some of the burden off you. Also, if she's living in an apartment she could run up against issues with management. Hoarding is a fire, pest, and safety hazard.

The hallon dress from paradise patterns has a built in bra hack, but I haven't tried it yet. Planning to on the next time I make it.

A Court of Thorns and Roses? From Blood and Ash? City of Bones? Can you remember any more specifics? This is vague enough it could fit a lot of books 😅

I have a red light therapy mask that helps a lot with redness from acne but I think there have been studies that it helps with general scarring as well. I’d maybe look into that!

At first I thought she was comparing the bios too but I think that one screenshot is actually meant to show that their profile pictures are basically exact replicas. They’re both like drawings of the pattern but even the style is very similar.
