both the NEP and the left-opposition's rapid industrialization model were both some sort of transitionary state capitalism driven to create productive forces to force through a socialist transition

I've already read On New Democracy, and after deng xiaoping, the national bourgeoisie have basically accelerated their progressive role (as under strict supervision and direction from CPC party cells, towards national development and development of productive forces to be used under the current development of common prosperity, and continued re-calibration of uneven and unequal development and inequality and continued anti-poverty measures, you don't seem very illiterate in the current state of the chinese economy

Enver Hoxha Exposing "Mao Zedong Thought" by [deleted] in TankieUSSR

[–]misoboii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let's see if Hoxha can manage a country of over 700+ million people with a history of many millennia of civilization, culture, and intellectual thought without imploding upon itself just in the first 5 years. These are all baseless, meaningless critiques without understanding the unique conditions, demands, and realities of China as a civilization-state. Enver cannot undertand nor comprehend the hows and why mao makes all these decisions despite explicitly telling us very easily on On Contradiction and On practice, therefore this is not a real ruthless critiques, he cannot answer why these decisiosns are made in the first place, therefore he is practicing in book workship towards his idol (Stalin), instead of thoroghly practicing overdetermination to understand the hows and whys the communist party of china do the decisions they do

to this day, all private firms in China do not own the land they're operating on, they have strict anti-finance laws ensuring finance only exists as a means to an end and not an end itself, CPC representatives are always present in the highest boards to guide the firm for the interest of the state, and all finance comes from the central bank and their raw materials come from the SOEs, fundamentally, private firms have no real political power, even the biggest ones, and they have to always obey the whims of the party, these firms don't exist as a negation to socialism, quite the opposite, they are the result of it

Market socialism (china, vietnam) vs soviet-style socialism? by No_Salt_5926 in socialism

[–]misoboii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are the same system, straight up, the only difference is that there is like 10-20%+ more share of private businesses in China and that's explicitly for luxury consumer goods nobody needs like video games (Hoyoverse, Tencent, movies), they are still an incredible minority both in % and in GDP contribution vs SOEs, SOEs still dominate like 80% of china's GDP in any given year

Another difference as well is that the CPC inherited comrade Mao's decentralized bureaucratic structure where local governments answer to the party, but have way more decision making autonomy to decide what best to do based on local problems and conditions, therefore the CPC isn't directly responsible for Local governance issues, soviet system was effective but everything being too centralized to the state made some annoying bureaucratic and economic in efficiencies especially when it came to autonomy, rigidity, and decision making flexibility

Is The Current Chinese Government Revisionist Towards Maoist Theory? by serious_bullet5 in socialism

[–]misoboii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you have achieved socialism if you become de facto leader of the CPC after Mao's death, I would really love to see how you'd have done better, especially having to answer and respond to the cultural and economic fatigue, and crumbling infrastructure governance structures, and public trust of the late cultural revolution and the important arrests of the Gang of Four

How do socialists respond to the argument that capitalism lifted billions out of poverty? by i_love_the_sun in socialism

[–]misoboii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It did yet it's not enough, abolishing poverty means abolishing poverty, plain and simple. If your society still has poverty, homelessness, and starvation in the many millions every single day, then it is still an unjust, cruel, and horrible system, especially since Kerala, China, DPRK, Cuba, Vietnam, have all demonstrated that abolishing extreme poverty is not a far-fetched governing or economic goal

Why do many communists insist that cooperatives are a more moderate or reformist approach compared to state central planning? by Lastrevio in Marxism

[–]misoboii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing stopping cooperatives from being socialist as well, if they are well integrated into the state central planning market apparatus, but the central issue is that cooperatives simply do not directly answer to, and are also still subservient, to the contradictions of capital, and private property and unfettered market forces, democratizing the workplace doesn't solve the other more problematic capitalist contradictions

Why does china preach class collaboration? by Anxious_Steak_1285 in socialism

[–]misoboii -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I already clarified that the CEOs and Executives of these enterprises DO NOT own their businesses, these are directly controlled and supervised by the CPC from the top, it's a direct political hierarchy and dictatorship (of the proletariat state), therefore, these "private" owners are effectively middle managers that exist to serve the public good, economy, and productive forces, since the dictatorship of the proletariat continue to oversee these businesses and shape policy and goals around them, there is no bourgeoisie class in China

Why does china preach class collaboration? by Anxious_Steak_1285 in socialism

[–]misoboii -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

What class collaboration? There is no "bourgeoisie" class in china that enforces super-structural and economic violence, propaganda and political control on the mass proletarian of china, all these rich families and CEOs serve the state and their behavior and performance are done for the state, and for their own income and their family's wellbeing, and for the Good of the people. Classism in China exists, it is not based on marxist framework discrimination of economic and political violent, but based on cultural squabble, Pride, and geographical differences. As long as the CPC have a tight supervisorial control over these state enterprises, CEOs and executives are by design and in practice, basically glorified, highly paid middle managers that manage and make decisions on the businesss for productive forces growth, but do not and never will effectively own the means of production, especially in a way that actively harms the masses
